My first and last experience with Paulo's went like this.While at work my co worker and I placed an order for chicken fingers and fries with a drink for $9.59. After the order was delivered I proceeded to open my container of food. what I found after opening my container was 2 chicken strips, w/brown fries that had been cook in old grease no crisp to the fries at all. At that point I started calling Paulo's only to get curse out, hung up on, and told that "this is why I don't do you people". I was told to bring the food in to the restaurant. Once at the restaurant I stood waiting at the counter for help after about 10 mins of standing at the counter a man comes around the corner and takes the tray of food out to his customers of about 5 people showing them the fries and asking them if anything is wrong with the fries and that he wanted to embarrass me. Not sure if any body responded. As he (the owner) proceeded back around the counter he said "this is why I don't deal with you people" as he begin opening the register all I said was that "You don't have to deal with me all I want is my money back". He proceeded to count out $9.00 although it was $9.59 for the food. After he gave me my money as I turned to walk away the owner called me a B%$CH!!!! I turned around and said "EXCUSED ME"!!!!! what did you just call me? His response was "you heard me now leave before I call the police". Paulo's don't have to ever worry about me ordering from them again. I was told that he was a very nasty person from my coworkers who has ordered from him before.After today KWP will not be ordering from PAULO'S again... Read moreFood was pretty good and that’s the only thing keeping this review from 1 star, unfortunately. I was in town on business, no car, at a hotel. Heard this place was good so I ordered. Nice and easy. Guy on the phone was great! Food arrived earlier than expected which was another plus but this is where it went all downhill
Guy that’s delivering off the bat has an attitude. Clearly had a bad day and was upset about something. Says he tried to call 5-10 times to no answer until I finally received the call and came down. I didn’t not receive any phone calls besides the call I answered. It was very evident he thought I was lying by How LOUDLY he was huffing and puffing and shaking his head, literally, the entire time he was running my card.
After running the card, it declined. My fault entirely, probably didn’t pay it off in time. Gave him a new card that worked fine. To which he responded “why didn’t you use that card to start?”. My bad, guy. I didn’t plan on giving you a declined card. He was upset about god knows what so I simply apologized for the inconvenience.
He then goes on to sarcastically tell me to tip whatever because the pizza place was right down the road as if it was an inconvenience to drive 2 miles... I don’t have a care and delivery is your job.
Again, this guy clearly had a bad day and was not a representation of this business but I was definitely let down over this very awkward experience. I ordered...
Read moreI ordered Paulo's pizza for a work event last month, the pizza was delicious, you can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients, perfect NY style pizza with a crust that is not too thin (something I don't like about some "NY style" pizza) but also not to thick, and very flavorful! It was a large order but arrived on time and piping hot. If that was not enough for a 5 star review though, they really went above and beyond in customer service for me! I had lost my receipt, but needed it for our company's accounting department, especially important because we are a 501c3. I called over a month after the order was placed and asked if there was any way they could locate our order (from over a month ago) and provide me with the receipt again. They very happily obliged, dug through their orders and emailed it to me within a few hours of calling them. Can't thank them enough not only for their great pizza but for going above and beyond in helping out their customers! (I have also had a colleague misplace a pizza receipt once before, from a larger pizza chain, she tried to do what I did, call and get the receipt from a few weeks prior, total opposite experience, and we never got it from...
