UPDATE I never go to this Starbucks even though it is less than 1 mile from my house. Today I had very limited time and was in a hurry so went through the line and ordered one item. It is a Saturday at 1 PM, (not during a busy morning rush) I figured this would be a five minute trip. I was in line for 21 minutes… TWENTY ONE MINUTES!! This is not because this Starbucks is so amazing that everyone goes there. I’m convinced that people only go there because they’re forced to because they either live or work very close by and have limited time. There was maybe seven cars in the drive-through line (and that is only because they are painfully slow) and I am absolutely astonished at how slow they are. At this point I’m blaming it on either the store manager or the district manager because it has been so bad for so long and nothing is being done about it. Hands-down the slowest and worst Starbucks that I’ve ever encountered. You will either die waiting in line or you’ll find out that they don’t have the item in stock that you wanna order.*
I have been going to Starbucks every single day for basically the past 15 years. All of that has changed in the past six months since I’ve moved, and my now local Starbucks is the worst I’ve experienced, and believe me, I’ve experienced many, many Starbucks. This place is ALWAYS out of something. I’ve never written a review about a Starbucks before, however, I did call the regional manager last year who basically didn’t pay much attention to me, brushed me off, and nothing has changed. I went this morning and ordered a ham and cheese croissant. The girl who took the order said to me; “we cannot sell any hot items right now because we are out of the papers that they lay on in the warmers.” So you mean to tell me that you’re basically open for another six or seven hours and you cannot sell one warmed item? On a weekend??? They have been out of coffee lids, straws, several food items, iced coffee, the list goes on and on and on..Not to mention that they are the slowest Starbucks on the planet and their lines are always backed up. This is at least a couple times a week, (today is literally my last time going there). When this started to happen frequently, I would drive 10 minutes away and go to the other Starbucks which I never had these problems with. Now, I decided that I don’t feel like driving all of that way because the Starbucks down the street from me is incompetent, so I’ve switched to Dunkin’ Donuts and/or Panera (who by the way has never been out of one thing I’ve ordered). I just don’t understand how this place runs, I was there a few weeks ago at 11 in the morning and ordered a ham and cheese croissant, they said they were out of them for the day, and I said; every time I come here you’re out of them, do you not sell them anymore? The girl said to me; we do, they are just popular and they go fast. So I guess my response to that would be, well, if you know that, wouldn’t you order more? This Starbucks loses so much money because they never have items. Anyway, rant over, I’m disgusted that I live a mile away from Starbucks and it’s the worst one on the planet. Hopefully someone from corporate will do something to educate them on how to purchase items correctly so this doesn’t continue to be an ongoing issue. Until that happens, I will be driving myself to Dunkin’ Donuts or Panera which are luckily both...
Read morePLEASE don’t “modernize” this Starbucks location It is a destination in and of itself as it stands, clean, comfortable with a warmth, and friendly, something which many locations have lost after “modernization.”
I’d been losing that “lovin’ feeling” for Starbucks after several locations in the area have gotten rid of comfy chairs, beginning with the chaise lounges where I used to sit, reading, ordering one latte after another.
I went almost 25 minutes out of my way to visit this location, because I remember liking the size, atmosphere and comfort from a few years back,
And they did not disappoint!
Erin at the counter suggested a perfect chai latte to meet my needs of sugar-free when no other Starbucks employee has ever thought of it at my request.
There are STILL comfy chairs and loveseats (so good!), and beautiful foliage outside a wall of tables.
Even though there was no carpet here, it was not loud nor irritating (like the newer locations with flooring that resembles a garage and no wall coverings).
Finally, even though I was perfectly satisfied, Courtney came over to check on me and see if there was anything else they can do to make my visit more enjoyable. And she wasn’t in a hurry!
That personal touch is everything, especially for someone seated alone.
The only thing I would change is find a way to add ports to the chair/sofa and glass wall seating areas...
Then you’ll be the very best Starbucks in Pinellas County (maybe in Tampa Bay!)
But please don’t get rid of that comfort if it’s not possible to make that update.
You’re sort of my last hope for that original Starbucks, before one can say,
🎶“You lost that...

For one GET YOUR PAPER RECEIPT if you have issues with order in store they won’t help without your paper receipt they won’t look at bank statements they won’t look at cameras they won’t verify with the store they don’t care if you have pictures or videos . The workers can refuse to give you a paper receipt and know you’re done for. I literally received the wrong order had to go in the store for the lady to just blame me saying I can’t say vanilla bean or I’ll get just a vanilla frap never had a problem with the difference. Then it was remade and disgusting there was NO vanilla bean at all just oat milk and ice…. There was no almond milk no whipped cream I came 40 mins before closing so it wasn’t any need to rush but I tried to understand that’s probably why they’re out of stuff. Look at the cup I paid almost 10$ for a ventii and got a half empty cup . No one will help they referred me to go back in store and stir a conflict NO WHY DO I HAVE TO GET RUDE WITH ANYONE I should just be able to go back and have it remade correctly and by someone different. I’ve never EVER had this problem with any starbucks I am beyond...
