Lattes in Paradise — Restaurant in Saint Thomas

My husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches, drinks and crumb cakes.

The sandwiches were hot and delicious. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese, ham and red onions. I also had the blueberry crumb cake. It was very sweet! A bit more sweet than I could prefer but still fun to try.

I got a decaf, hot coffee that was good. My husband got an iced matcha latte with honey. He said that the flavor was very mild and he could hardly taste the honey.

The lady taking orders was friendly and helpful. However, during our short time there, we saw multiple mistakes happen. One man was given the wrong drink, a woman was missing an ingredient on her breakfast sandwich and more. So when I got my food, I double checked to make sure that my food was correct and it wasn't. My red onion was missing. They corrected it right away but I'm glad that I had checked before...

Do you think its right one of your employees insult me a regular customer this morning because I asked for her gloves to be changed? Apparently, the register ran out of paper, she came to the draw the the glove retrieve the paper do all the replacement with that glove and then still proceed to preparing my food with the dirty glove. I kindly ask for her to change it and she good so up set telling me don’t tell her how to do her f.....king job and she don’t need to use a glove. I would have been fine if she removed the glove wash her hands and prepare my food. To avoid any further insult I kindly asked for my money back. This is not customer service. We absolutely loved our experience! The drinks were not only wonderful but the team of women that were working are unbelievable! This little place is such a vibe! The view is breathtaking, and if you're lucky enough to get to meet Monica, I promise her infectious attitude will just make your day! And Emmie...she was genuinely interested in us, and excited to learn about our visit and even offered up some wonderful places to visit. We saw her the next day in the grocery store and she remembered our names and hugged us like she had known us for years. Seriously, we hope the manager knows how awesome their little gem on this island is, and that they have some of the greatest group of humans working there!...
