The individuals you gave this place a four or five star review have no taste buds.
The food is horrible. It tastes like cheap Chinese food that you should only experience once and never ever go back too.
The atmosphere sucks. The guy with the alto / soprano voice who welcomes the guest is annoying.
His welcomes are borderline creepy, loud; and mostly fake depending upon who walks to the restaurant.
The waitress visiting from Connecticut is truly annoying. ( you shouldn't tell customers your entire life story). We come too eat not to hear about your upbringing.
The lighting sucks The furniture is outdated.
Expensive food that taste mediocre. Frozen vegetables. Cheap cuts of chicken Cheap cuts of fish Cheap / frozen fish
I purchased food from this restaurant on two occasions.
The entrees was flavorless: Basil fried rice - spicy There was neither flavour nor spice. Vegetable lo mein - the container literally looked like a hot side salad with no flavor. Sushi sucks.
This establishment prefers customers who derive from St. John.
Seems like locals are not really welcomed or if you look like a local all of a sudden they don't comprehend
They need an authentic Thai restaurant. Not a restaurant that serves Chinese/ Japanese/ Thai food.
I guess there's not much Asian food alternatives so your forced to go to this establishment or fly to...
Read moreMan… talk about mediocre at best. The sushi rolls were okay but lacked flavor and were all extremely similar. The fried rice also had that issue… bland. Thai tea’s were seven dollars but were watery, even when ordered with light ice. The penang curry was not penang curry—it was unpleasantly sour, like something had spoiled; and had no flavors, just felt spicy (which is almost impressive, in a way). I have never sent something back to a kitchen, so that was a first.
The service was awful. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant (which should have been our sign to turn around but I digress), and yet we constantly had to wait for our waitress to pay us any mind. When she did, she kept trying to run away. She did take the “penang” curry off our bill though, which was appreciated.
Atmosphere was awful. No windows, tacky art, and the environment was extremely quiet. Unlike any of the other homey experiences we’ve had at other places in St Thomas.

Read moreGreat place to go if you’re looking for Thai or sushi. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere is nice, however, in the night, the street was not very safe. It was very clean inside. The service was friendly. The food was good, here is the food rated. We appreciated the vegetarian option for sushi in the menu. Hot and sour soup 7/10 Basil fried rice 5/10 Veggie Supreme Sushi 10/10 Massaman Curry 9/10 Thai ice Tea 9/10 Pad see eiw 10/10 Overall, I would highly recommend coming during daylight and there is a large vegetarian selection available.
UPDATE: Changing review from 4 to 5 stars because our second visit was better. A lot of their dishes don’t have soy sauce but when they added it in their delicious cashew stir fry it completely changed everything. The cashew stir fry was great, the...
