The covered outdoor open restaurant/bar overlooked the pool and beach. At night a few times a week they had live music at the pool, which was a treat to have during dinner. Breakfast is not open till 8am, if you are an early riser likey kids, make sure you have breakfast ready in your room.

The kids ordered wings, pasta (also large can feed two kids), and chicken tenders with fries. My wife and I had the jerk chicky wrap, jerk pasta with chicken (yum like Alfredo sauce flavor, large serving can feed two adults), mahi fish tacos, and fish of the day snapper dinner. My daughter was looking forward to the lobster but they didn't get any from the fisherman all week. The food was delicious over all and we didn't need to head into the city to eat at another restaurant because we had everything we needed right here. Therefore no need for a car rental. The restaurant does a good job with a variety of food options.

The service at the restaurant was wonderful and quick each time. The waitresses always said hi and came by to chat with us even when we did eat at their table from before.

The same restaurant served drinks all day from frozen to mixed drinks...

Convenient spot for a casual bite while at the Marriott Frenchman’s Cove. Location is great, right next to the pool and beach. Service is on “island time” (i.e., not quick), and pretty responsive. They have good pub grub menu options with some entrees, sandwiches and salads. Food and drinks were both great. Drinks are obviously going to be on the pricey side being at a resort ($15 for cocktails). But going at happy hour (4-6pm) will get you half priced drinks (beer, wine and cocktails). Getting an order for food takeout for the beach or poolside can be very long. We ordered two appetizers and they took close to an hour. So be sure to have a few extra cocktails on hand to hold you over! And FYI, the Marketplace shop right next door has cold canned beer, wine, seltzers and soda if you don’t want to wait at the bar. They also have miscellaneous supplies, apparel, baked goods, and ice cream. And it all has a laid back vibe.

All in all, the Marriott does a nice job of having a convenient and quality spot for drinks, snacks, dinner, and brunch at a great location. Just don’t be in a rush! Enjoy the sights and sounds...

Slow service, overpriced food. Incredibly rude bar tender. I wholly do not recommend.

No wait staff came by to take our order, so I walked up to the counter. I was told I need to order food at the bar. I wait in line at the bar - said what I wanted to order, and the bar tender asked if it was to go. I replied no, it's for this table here. The bar tender told me I need to sit down and wait staff would come by. I shrugged and said eh. The bar tender then very rudely said "A. Sit down at the table and B. The waitresses will come take your order." He then proceeds to walk over to the wait staff, I hear the bar tender gloating about telling a guy to "A. Sit down. And B. Will take your order"

After this experience the wait staff still did not come by our table, till another member of our table mentioned were on limited time. Finally someone comes by to take our order.

The manager spoke with the bar tender and offered drinks for this rude incident.

I encourage all people choosing to go here to ask the bar tender about his...

The only positive is the staffer BENEDICTA. She is absolutely the best and the only reason I did not walk off this place. For the rest, absolutely disappointed by the service. The marketplace which is right by the restaurant and sells pizza but they do not have a seating option. We are vegetarian and the sunset cove has barely any food options for us which bizzare. The server when asked about ordering drinks and dessert but not food were absolutely pissed for some reason. One of them literally snatched menu from our hands and started walking. There were 2 others families eating just pizza and I even checked with them, they confirmed of not ordering anything from the restaurant. We are brown skinned and the family was white so I guess the restaurant staff is well trained to be racist and unwelcoming. Also whats most shocking is there were 5 tables empty and we were near closing time so this behavior is completely uncalled for regardless.
