taste at Paradise Point — Restaurant in Saint Thomas

Please do not waste your time with this place. Went there as one of the stops in our cruise and we had the worst experience ever. I am a disabled veteran who needs a cane to walk, we never been to this place so we do not know how the process to order food is, after waiting for a while for someone to take our order at one of the tables my wife decides to go to the bar to place our order, so I stayed sitting at our table and one of the waitresses told me that I needed to get out. I explained to her what was happening and she said that whatever order was placed at the bar needed to be consumed at the bar. She didn't cared even after I told her that we waited and nobody came and that I am a disabled person. So I go to the bar to check on my wife and the bartender then tells me that I have to move out of the line, and I am just standing next to my wife and he sees me walking with a cane. These people dont care about ppl with disabilities and they sure do not know how to treat costumers and tourists. Some ppl at the cruise also had a bad experience at this place. We travel regularly and this place is definitely in our no to visit again list. This is just...

This place was an absolute joke. The waitress was very, very rude and unprofessional. We were trying to get a table, and since it was seat yourself we were trying to get enough chairs to accommodate our group when she very rudely told us we could not move chairs from one table to another. Clearly that is what has been happening as 2 chairs were missing from the table we were trying to sit at and other tables had 6, 7, 8 chairs at them. Instead of trying to help us get seating for our group, she decided to continue to argue about the chairs. Once we were actually seated, not everyone in our group could sit, because again, apparently we were the only group not allowed to move chairs. After getting a couple of tables the entire wait staff choose to ignore us for about 45 minutes. We went to the bar and got drinks ourselves. When we finally had enough we got up and left.

Will never come back, nor recommend this...

While the view is beautiful and the food prices are reasonable, the service and food could use improvement. The server was very unfriendly and not personable. She rushed our order. They have an 18% gratuity automatically added to your bill so that’s possibly why the service is mediocre. The server went to go collect our empty places and dropped one of the baskets back on the table, almost spilling it on one of our family members. They were out of lobster fritters. The nachos barely had any queso on them. We got the jerk chicken dip and it was good and had the right amount of heat which was a plus.
