Findeisen's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Salem

Their ice cream is very good, but their service is horrible. Part timers not properly trained. Every time I need to take out, I sways say first, "I need my items with covers, in a bag to go". What's so hard about doing this. Today I did the same thing. One ice cream was in a cup with a wax paper rubber banded to it. No problem. Then my soft serve came. Overloaded. I asked them to just make it even, and put a cover on it The answer was "oh, we can't do that". Really? You're joking right. So finally after I explained, in great detail what I wanted they evened up the cup and put a lid on. Then she hands it to me. I asked for a bag again and finally left....

I'm not a fan, the first and second time I went there the ice cream tasted like cleaning solution, I tried third time and it tasted Frozen as in freezer burn I don't know if it was just an older the freezer was broken but it just had his off taste to it so I'm unfortunately going to say that it definitely wasn't a place where I'm going to go back to. The service was great ,the people were friendly ,service, great smiles very attentive ,as far as the ice cream was concerned it just...

Stopped by to get a frappe. The girl working was so slow and the cup was super drippy. She started to wipe it with a rag she was wiping counters with and I asked her to please just put another cup over it instead. It was still a mess. It tasted weird too. Maybe like a chemical of some kind? I recommend Hawksie's over this place for sure. It was so disappointing especially...
