Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Salem

Was excellent really hit the spot. The staff was great very talkative upbeat and friendly. Took pride in making some great sandwiches I could tell. We just came off the road after 9 hours or more of driving so Jr and I were beat. The Club Sub Mike's way and Jr Turkey Sub Mike's Way both got devored. It's not the White House in AC but dang it was a great sub that really hit the spot. I almost said 4 stars then I said to myself "why you couldn't ask for a better experience and a better meal" so 5 stars it is. The seating chairs and table could be a little bit more comfortable and spacious so that's the only thing I docked and gave four stars to the atmosphere and that's nit picking. As with all chain places your mileage may vary you know you really never know what you're going to get but on this day and this occasion excellent staff excellent food they did a perfect job. This was on Wednesday June 5th in late afternoon like 6pm. So do commend the staff for fine work and excellent customer service. They went above and beyond when it came to my online order. They not only greeted me as i walked in the door, obviously with a not so happy look upon my face, but the manager quickly came out to fix an issue. I explained the situation and, without hesitation, she compensated the entire order even though i was not looking for free food and told her that she didn't have to. Just for things to be fixed. She was very apologetic and so was the employee who made a mistake. They treated me so kindly and even apologized. I wasn't angry, just frustrated and tired. It also opened my eyes as to them being human and a simple mistake, which wasn't the end of the world, to which it humbled me. I actually needed that. That in and of itself was what i needed. I go to Jersey Mike’s multiple times a week, and it’s honestly my favorite restaurant. The food is consistently incredible — always fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how I like it. Whether it’s a classic cold sub or something hot off the grill, they never miss.

But what really sets this place apart is the people. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always up for a good conversation. It feels more like catching up with friends than just grabbing a bite to eat. The service is fast, the energy is positive, and the whole experience is just... perfect.
