McDonald's — Restaurant in Salem

Overall this McD's is really based on who is working. If you get the right crew food is good and service is fine. If you get the don't care ones then you will end up waiting for your food for 15-20 minutes and get an apple pie for your wait. Thats what happened last week to me. Order the Steak bagel combo on the app and decided to use the curbside pickup option. Got to my spot and checked in...app said 5 minutes and I should have my food. 5 minutes came and went...10 minutes came and went...15 minutes came and went and I went into the store. Told the cashier I was sitting in 3 for 15 minutes waiting for my order. The MOD asked if I had the steak bagel combo and I said yes. She handed me my bag and an apple pie (had to ask for my drink cup)...no sorry, no thank you, so of course I didn't say anything either and took my food to leave. Ordered same breakfast today and decided to come inside...no good morning, but got a look from a woman on why I was just standing there and told her mobile order. She went to the expediter and I got my food pretty quickly after that. She ended up being pretty friendly and told me thank you/sorry for the wait. the only other time we come to this place is for ice cream for my kids...most times the ppl are just OK, but we did have one time a very polite/friendly/super nice drive thru order taker and I made sure to let her know. Edit: 7/1/24 I went back this morning and they corrected the mistake they had made. My service was fast friendly and I appreciated the manger on duty for taking care of me.

I come here every morning, yesterday a hashbrown was left out of my bag. This morning I told the lady taking orders about it she asked me if I called I did multiple times and the phone just rang and rang 3 different times I tried to call. She asked if I had my receipt I didn't think I did. Well after I pay at the 1st window I find my receipt from the day before. When I get to the second window I hand it to the girl working the window and explain it to her she says no problem please pull forward and we will bring you your food so I do. They hand me my food after waiting 4 mins. I open the bag and still only have one hashbrown. By the time I look up the attendant at the 3rd window is gone and drive thru is wrapped around the building at this point I do not have time to come in. Went through drive thru for an iced coffee and vanilla cone. The young man taking our order was not friendly at all. Informed us in a short rude way we could have coffee but no cone. Did not say why we couldn't get a cone and didn't ask what size coffee we wanted. When we get to window he was a tad bit nicer but informed us since he didn't know what size coffee we wanted he put in medium! Huh?! First you don't ask and what if medium was not what we wanted. Did not catch his name but he was young with lots of tattoos working the drive thru around 2pm on Saturday the 14th of July. So we finally get to pickup window and the girls working there seemed really confused about which order was ours. Really!
