I have heard a lot of great things about this place, a lot. But I must have come on the wrong day. I was truly disappointed in the service I received ringing in my order; the young lady did not seem to know anything about their drinks or what was in the latte I asked about. So I got the Steifel iced because that’s all she clearly knew about. She started to get rude to me and I think she was trying to make me feel bad because she didn’t know what she was doing, bless her heart. Thankfully she did not make my drink and it did turn out just fine. I did watch her make my cinnamon roll, though and she touched it with her hands. My family and I are traveling from Colorado to South Carolina. We stopped at this coffee shop because it had a 4.9 review on Google. The young lady who took my order was wonderful however the woman who made the coffee, was very rude. I had several people come in after me and they all got served. all I ordered was two coffees and some danishes They served at least four other people before I got my coffee and danishes. You never know who will walk into your coffee shop and I’m pretty sure nobody here had any idea who I was but I will make sure to not recommend this coffee shop to anyone Due to the service And how they treated a first time customer. I am enjoying their egg bites. Delicious! Much better than well known corporate coffee shop.The atmosphere is perfect. Quiet, relaxing. No obnoxious music playing. People on their lap tops or devices and others in groups chatting. The staff speak like normal people; relaxed and happy to see you without being over enthusiastic. You feel like you are at a friend’s home for something enjoyable. The open walls/windows allowed the patio and inside to be comfortably together. They can be closed when necessary. That the shop is on the east side of the street makes even warm summer mornings comfortable in the shade. I would appreciate a couple more meat/egg choices, but the egg bites...
