Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Salina

have you ever seen a person in poverty force a smile to hide the overwhelming hardships they feel in life from a customer? thats what your staff look like every time i show up. i dont even care that some of the slices had no toppings and looked frantically prepared. i just want you to pay your staff better so that they arent tormented by the prospect of receiving tips at the register in order to make ends meet...or at the drive thru. i have no problem tipping a delivery. thats a whole different matter entirely.. but i pick carryout so that i dont feel obligated to rate someone i know hates their job no matter how much they smile. correct me if im wrong, but i think your drive thru is the only one in town where the staff have verbally asked me if i would like to leave a tip. and i feel so bad for them because i can see it in their face that it pains them to ask--if they muster the strength to do it.. and it does make me feel guilty, but i refuse to enable you--knowing that you profit hand over fist. i sincerely hope better opportunities arise for them so they can escape your environment with dignity. i dont even want a response. i just want you to face your staff after...

Heres the thing we all love pizza. I'm not sure if i love it enough to accept bad service. So a little advice for your visit to this pizza hut. You may not get a warm welcome, a hello how are you today, or a thank you for choosing Pizza Hut come again. But i guess if you like to eat pizza the heck with service and a warm welcoming environment with flys nipping at your toes. I like pizza every now and then but i've chosen never to accept bad or average service because its my hard earned money i spend and i expect people and businesses to love what they do. The pizza is okay and never consistent so you've got to be on top when it comes to service if you want to be rated the best and make every pizza with greatness. If I could give it 0 stars I would! This was not only the absolute worst Pizza Hut we've ever been to but it ranks near the top of worst dining experiences. We were standing at the counter for 10mins before they even acknowledged we were there. There were only two tables seated. The guy who took our order came back 3 times because he either lost his notepad, didn't write it down right or couldn't read what he wrote down. The garlic cheese bread was very cold and not melted, we never got the cheese sticks and one of the pizzas had all the toppings wrong. There was very little lettuce in the salad bar.
