McDonalds has successfully made eating out feel like getting food in the Army chow hall. I mean no greeting, no interpersonal skills, no up-sale, and the cherry on top- no thanks for stopping in. Pretty soon the mindless ones that don't care how they are overcharged and under-served will realize the point we have allowed ourselves as customers to be treated. We are the fuel that keeps these corporations moving. I don't blame the employees, I blame the shift managers all the way to the CEO. If you want to split hairs with people's pay and benefits, you are just dealing you company a solid blow to the gut. I can almost guarantee if the CEO decided to take out the self-service crap, bring back customer service training and conflict resolution skills, your bottom line would grow. Maybe call it "Back to Our Roots" and literally nostalgia would bring in tons of folks that would love to reminisce about their childhood trips to go to McDonalds. Greed and selfishness will destroy your customer loyalty. You don't see kids jumping into the car pretend they are diving to McDonalds anymore. This brand really needs do some serious thinking, or they will...
Read moreMy husband and I are passing through the area on a road trip. He stopped at this McDonalds to grab us some breakfast and was asked for the code to the app (we rarely eat at McDonalds and wouldn’t use the damn app anyway). He explained that he doesn’t have the app, to which the lady working the drive-thru responded again that she needed the code. He said again that he’s not using the app, and just wanted to order some food, and this employee literally said “are you stupid?” to my husband. He of course asked to speak to the manager, and the manager asked for the code, so my husband explained a third time that he was not using the app, and the manager said “well then just order your food”. My husband said “that’s what I’ve been trying to do,” and the manager responded by telling him that he didn’t appreciate how my husband was talking to his employee. It’s one thing to have your employee’s back, and another to enable them to insult customers for no reason. Do NOT go to this McDonalds, the staff are rude af and all of them need...

Food got to me at 745 and I left only to realize they didn't give me my drinks so walked back. The front desk person said they were sorry.
They HEAVILY prioritize the drive thru over the lobby. 15 cars came and went while I waited for my very simple order. When someone finally came up to start taking orders I asked about mine and she said I had a "big order", but as you can see in the receipt I only had 2 happy meals and a chicken sandwich, so I don't see that being a big order.
People that come into the lobby may be in just as much of a hurry as the people in the drive through but I'm sure they don't get graded the same.
Hope their service to inside...
