Starbucks — Restaurant in Salinas

I am deeply troubled by my recent experiences at this Starbucks, where I have been a customer for three years. During my last visit, an employee displayed rude behavior towards my wife and today acted in a discriminatory manner towards me. Upon entering, the employee was cordial to everyone else, but her demeanor changed drastically when she interacted with me. She singled me out to ask if I was there for a delivery, to which I replied no. Then, among all the orders, she specifically asked if I had ordered the Chai tea. Considering my Indian heritage and name, this felt like a pointed assumption. When I collected my Chai and inquired about my food order, she responded very rudely, telling me it would be ready soon. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes for a croissant. I am disappointed that Starbucks employs someone capable of such rudeness and racism. I assure you, my family and I will no longer patronize Starbucks due to this...

Update from 4 stars to 2: I went in today after placing my mobile order for pickup and they were so backed up that the counter was covered in empty cups with order labels. I waited for 45 minutes for my order with 20 other people in the store who were also waiting for their orders. They need to turn off mobile orders when they get backed up. This is not the first time I've had to wait this long before. It seems like if the drive up option is available, the order will be done fast but if it's not then it'll be a long wait.

Someone clearly didn't drink their coffee this morning that I visited. I always place my order when I leave my house on the way to work. I don't care if it's slightly cold I just want my order ready so I can get to work on time. So placed my order 10 minutes before getting to this location and nothing was ready. I waited patiently for 10 more minutes only for one of the staff members to tell me that my order was out of stock. They did offer to make something else but this incident had already made me late for work. Gave me a store credit which is fine but again they moved at a snails pace to get it done.
