Bob Evans — Restaurant in Salisbury

I wish I could give Bob Evans zero stars. I had the worst experience there tonight, and I will never step foot in a Bob Evans ever again. After ordering and waiting 45 minutes for our food, we were left with empty drinks and absolutely no food. We watched table after table get food before us when they were seated after us, and the food that we saw appear out of the kitchen after 10 minutes of ordering was in fact our food that had never been delivered to us and just sat under the heat lamps. The one manager on staff took our order and never brought us our rolls/biscuits or salads before our food was ready, and then our food sat there and turned inedible. When we complained to the one waitress who we only saw 10 minutes after being seated to bring us silverware, she said she would immediately get our food and yet went to serve others. When I finally had the manager brought back over, two out of four people had the food they ordered and it was no longer good enough for human consumption. The fact that the staff thought the food would still be good was sad. I would never serve someone food with such low quality. The eggs were hard, cold, and overcooked. The bacon (which the waitress dropped onto the table and didn't bother to apologize for or replace) was scorched. The pot roast dish was just a pile of mush. When another dish was brought out, it looked like something I wouldn't even feed my dog. There was no side dish, which the manager claimed it did not even come with, and it was also accompanied by the wrong dessert. And again, we never received the salads or bread that came with our three course meal? Not to mention I never received any of my food before the manager tried to just compensate for this terrible experience by just saying he would take the cost of the salads off of our bill. I am literally disgusted with the quality of service and the quality of the food that we were attempted to be served. This was a waste of my night, and I will gladly never go to a Bob...

I had dinner here tonight. Let me say right off the bat that the food was good, no issues. Our issues were with the staff. We grew concerned when our waitress made mistakes on four other bills from patrons sitting around us. When finished, we were presented with the bill for $31.00 even. I prepared to pay it. The waitress then rushed back and said she gave us the wrong bill, and gave us a different bill. We took that bill to the cashier. The bill with tax was $28.47. She rang us up and presented us with a bill that came to over $32.00. When we asked the cashier about the difference in the bill, she said it was the tax. I said the tax was included and stated clearly on the bill. I asked to see the bill we had given her for $28.47 and she had to dig in the trash by the register to produce it, where she had crumpled it up and thrown it away. We took both bills and compared them side by side, and could see no reason why our bill of $28.47 was wrong. I requested the manager, who then came over, compared the two bills, said we had been given the wrong bill (again) and refunded us the difference.

We were left wondering just what in the heck is going on here? A waitress may make a mistake here or there during a shift. I get that. I waited tables at one time in my life. Things can and do happen.

But five mistakes with five separate tables in the span of less than an hour in a restaurant where we were pretty much the only patrons???

Came here on Sunday 9/11 around 1230/1pm —Don’t order curbside from here if it’s raining !! They won’t even bring your order out.. even though I tipped them . Never again ... I had foot surgery so it’s hard for me to walk . I feel like I shouldn’t even have to explain that since that is their job to bring curbside orders to the car . After calling them to tell them I was there to get my breakfast , the girl says to me “ you really going to do this to us ? It’s raining “ …well I’m sorry …I thought she was joking !! It wasn’t even raining hard . I could see if it was pouring and lightning. I wouldn’t of ordered curbside or even been out if it was really storming outside …It wasn’t that serious . Other people were waiting too and never saw them bring food out .. finally a nice lady came out and told me that “no one was trying to bring out your food so I told them I would do it “…I say take the option off to order curbside if they aren’t going to bring it to the curb .
