Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Salisbury

Tonight I took my kids to your location to get ice cream. I placed my order on the app prior to getting there. When I got in the drive thru I told them I had a mobile order, which I was advised that it was not showing up. I advised them that I had an email confirmation that I could show them. I drove up to the window and showed who I later found out was manager Stanford. I showed him the email, which he told me there was nothing he could do since it was not showing up. I also told him that the charge had hit our bank account already. I then tried to place the order again in front of him and the app would not allow me to do that saying the order had already been placed. At that point we pulled around and my wife went inside. She told Stanford that he needed to either refund our money or give us the ice cream. Stanford stated that we would have to dispute the charge with our bank. Stanford was told that we were going to contact the home office, which he responded OK. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Stanford has absolutely no business being a manager and I will refuse to return to that location...

There are a wide variety of food choices at this DQ, for the carnivores out there among you, and the vegetarians like me. There are a lot of different price points, too, which is great because my husband and I started doing dates under $10 to keep things creative, fun, and affordable.

We're feeling the pinch, just like many of you, so we are finding new ways to date each other. Yesterday, on the spur of the moment, we went around the corner to DQ for a couple of vanilla soft serve cones.

I will say this: I've gotten onion rings many times at this location, and now I know they tend to be very generous with the portion sizes. Also, the grounds are always clean and well-maintained. However, the order taker/cashier yesterday was not the warmest. She did try to upsell our order, but that seemed like a perfunctory task for her; she was not genuinely interacting with us.

But the ice cream 🍦was good, and the date was fun, and at the end of the day, that's what we're going to...

Had a girl named Nicole that apparently doesn't like her job.Very rude! I ordered a chocolate dipped in chocolate in a cup w a top sr citizen discount I said.She says pull forward.Was very busy finally got to the window n she gives me the price I said is that w the senior discount she didn't even answer n put in the discount. Hands me the receipt w no words.Then hands me a dipped chocolate cone in her bare hands no gloves, which I didn't ask for so I said I ordered this in a cup. I'm trying to talk to her calling ms, Ms she slams the window n disappears finally coming back w the right order.I ask her name and ask for the manager.Johnny was a pleasant young man that tried to smooth everything over.
