Let me save you some time and money by telling you that the food was so bad that I only had to look at it to know I wasn’t going to touch it. I ordered a simple turkey sandwich and fries. The sandwich was hot, the lettuce was bad and should never have been placed on any food, and the turkey was the worst part. It was this bizarre color and absolutely slimy. Slimy! It turned my stomach. I got my coworker the same thing and we were at work before we opened our containers. (If I had checked it while there I would’ve asked for my money back) My coworker said she didn’t touch hers either because of the slime covering the turkey. Just so bizarre. The inside of this restaurant was dirty and the floor was sticky. Not just a spot on the floor, but the entire floor had a stickiness to it. The thought of this place will always gross me out....
Read moreThis is not a good place for home cooking for lunchtime. Their food is very unseasoned and their country style steak is nothing but compressed meatloaf. Their lunch reminds me a lot like hospital cafeteria food. Greasy deep fried squash and soggy and unnecessarily, thick brown tasteless gravy. But at least the chocolate cake was good. This might be a good place for a sandwich and chips or breakfast, but not for home-cooked food. Unfortunately, there's not a good home-cooked dinner time meal around in this area.
