This is legitimately the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. Now, I have to make a caveat by admitting that it was 2am when I went there (very long day), but if your restaurant is open 24/7, that should mean you treat your customers the same way at noon as you do at midnight. The computers at this particular McDonald's were either broken or turned off, so I had to pull up to the window to order. That would be fine, but they didn't provide a menu at the window, so if I hadn't known already what I wanted I would have been in trouble. Also due to no computers, the worker wrote my order on a piece of paper, then calculated the total by hand, meaning my receipt didn't include what I ordered, just the total. She also made me wait for her to finish a non-work conversation with her coworker before I could order and spoke very curtly to me. Fine, whatever. That would be all negligible if the food was good, right?
Unfortunately, that's another problem, which we'll get to. After ordering, I awkwardly eased my car into the middle spot between windows while I waited for someone else to get their food. And then waited. And waited. After the person in front shouted into the window twice and honked their horn in frustration thrice (like some summoning spell to pull Ronald from his drug-induced coma), their reward was a bag of food shoved roughly out the portal towards their car.
I am not exaggerating, I sat in the drive through, between windows, for 10 minutes. And then when I got to the second window, I sat there for another ten minutes. I checked, it was 2:16 when I got my receipt and 2:37 when I got the food... which was cold. All of it. Except one Hot-n-Spicy McChicken that was 10 degrees above lukewarm, so you know, I guess it's fine to make everything else and let it get cold while you take 10 minutes to make a sandwich with three ingredients. But I didn't even mention that after 20 minutes, they somehow got my order wrong! They forgot the main sandwich for the combo I ordered, gave me the wrong drinks and the wrong sandwiches, and then took food back from me, out of my car, when they realized their mistake, and made me wait longer while they fixed it.
This kind of "service" isn't okay at 2pm, and it shouldn't be accepted at 2am. It may be easy to assume everyone using the drive through at that hour is drunk or high and hence won't remember, but I wasn't, just disappointed. No pics because it was dark and I was...
Read moreRUDE EMPLOYEES, NASTY MESS, WRONG ORDERS! This mcdonalds is one of the worst places you could eat at. ONE STAR IS OUT OF GENEROSITY. I usually don't look at reviews, BUT for those that read these PLEASE GET SOMETHING FROM THIS, because I'm writing this to inform you of WHY YOU SHOULDNT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS! Never have I ever HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. To start, a group of friends and I simply ordered our food on the self-service machines which didn't work, twice. The lines were long and the service was wayyy too slow for a restaurant that should be expecting people in the building 24/7 especially with a party next door. On top of that when we got our order we went and sat down because it took so long, only to find they didn't even give us our order correctly. They were missing items. We went back to go retrieve the items we had paid for & the manager so rudely stated that we shouldn't have gone to sit down, and that they only have one extra mcdouble that we couldn't have because they were 'too busy' all in all it was simply that they WERENT PREPARED. We waited for him to give us our missing item, and he walked past us and ignored us like we weren't there. With our friends standing around he continued to just stare at us and continue his work. A friend of mine was also waiting for her order and they misplaced her food too!! BECAUSE we were just fed up and wanted to leave we ignored the fact that they could've at least given our money back, we sat and ate. As we went to fill up our drinks the place was A GROSS MESS! And the lady cleaning ignored it and kept mopping where we were sitting, she couldn't wait until we left?? ALL IN ALL IF YOU ARE HUNGRY, EVEN STARVING, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!! Rating it a ONE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! GO TO THE MAVERICK NEXT DOIR AND GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH. I'm definitely making a call...
Read moreI have placed an order for the pickup and it was ready in 5 minutes which is good. But then comes the twist when i go to pickup my food, all the doors are locked and no sign or nothing i was walking around the store for 5 minutes no signs where to pick my food. Then finally i walked to the drive through when it was safe and i maintained a safe distance before approaching to the girl at the window, she directed me to go to the front door and stand there for doordash orders which was not my case i had a pickup order. Then i went to the front door and there was a girl asked me for my order and i gave it to her and she brought my order which went well no problems till now. While going i politely asked to place a sign so the people who come can wait patiently. Thats when she was throwing attitude saying she was incharge there and she was only 17 and i am not supposed to say her anything, i politely asked her to call the person in charge. Then comes the a lady in black suit and a guy who were trying to explain me how i can change options while placing a pickup order on mcdonalds app. He was trying to buff me with how i can change pickup order to curbside pickup order which in this case was never gone happen since there is no option like that on mcdonalds app. After all this scenario happened i was trying to talk to the lady in black suit who was very furious because i was trying to show that there is no option like that on the app shut the door and my face and walked in and did nothing. If this is what you people call service at mcdonalds then you should better revise your sevice manuals at this store and try to educate these people. All this happened on 07/17/2025 around 10 pm (mst) at 1665 west 700 north, salt lake...
