Not the place to go unless you are having a perfect day.
I was prepared to purchase an ABUNDANCE of product AFTER I had used their restroom. In fact my husband was parking the pickup to follow me in and make a purchase to profusely thank them. It was obvious by my desperation when I asked for a restroom and they said they had no restroom available. Wait what? Their employees have no need to use restroom facilities. Ever. Hmmm. I am in cancer treatment and was hit hard. Right then. With uncontrollable diarrhea. I told her all of this. And she sent me back out the door. Not only do they not have compassion at Mrs Baker's Pastry Shop, but they also lie. I sincerely hope should she ever be in my situation, she is treated by someone so with so much more understanding, compassion and truthfulness... Because some of us were created human who not only need to use a restroom at inconvenient times but also have the unfortunate event of receiving the devastating diagnosis of cancer... Read moreSweet pastries and sweet employees make for a sweet experience with a delicious ending! When you see how long this business has been around you would be surprised if you didn’t have a sweet experience. But there is more. I don’t hide that I have Parkinson’s. In addition to three delicious cookies, I also bought a bottle of water. When I tried to open it my mind was out to lunch and my hand just wouldn’t respond. One of the employees saw I was struggling. Sometimes I fear it is our own attitudes that need to be checked at the door before we ask for service. When we start acting like we are the most important person in the world, therein lies the problem. We all have bad days, customer and server alike. Are you cheery and agreeable 24/7? If you feel you were not listened to, ask again. It's simple. We live in an instant gratification...
