I have lived here for 6 months and LOVE it! I went from the worst experience to the best! Renting in the Salt Lake Valley can be a challenge with all the extra fees and constant management changes. I did not want to get locked into a lease then regret it. This has not been the case at Salt Flats.
Colby was great to work with, and the rent structure breakdown is simple and straightforward. The options for secure garage parking and storage units inside the building are very reasonable, and convenient. Having everything in one secure building, including the gym is a luxury. I have incredible downtown views and a beautiful unit, and the location just adds to a great place to live. Most of all this building is managed and Colby cares about the Salt Flats experience which is a must for me.
I highly recommend this property. I have no regrets and my experience here has been AMAZING, and worth...
Read moreGreat location and decent place, but I would not recommend unless it goes under new management. I paid for a reserved parking spot, yet the manager constantly allowed other people to park in my spot. When I tried to address this issue first over email, I never received a response. I came back one day about a month after sending the email to yet another car parked in my spot. At that point I decided to go in person and discuss this issue with the manager. I was essentially ignored for half an hour before he came out of his office to talk to me. When he did he essentially told me to just park on the street for now, even though this is the spot I pay a monthly fee for. I felt extremely unheard and disrespected. It is a lovely location, but the lack of respect and consideration from management is what accounts for...
Read moreI rented an apartment here through Airbnb, hosted by Lake City Flats. Huge mistake, this outfit is run by greedy crooks. I basically got stuck w an over $7.000.00 bill for a 6 night stay. They hide behind their cancelation policy but how could anyone justify that? Maybe if there was any damage to the place but I left it in pristine condition. I was there 5 minutes and I knew the place wasn’t going to work out, it was so tiny and the hallway going to the apartment was littered w trash cans and smells awful. I offers to stay a month giving them time to rent it for the other two months I had it reserved but they wanted two months rent for the one month stay so I cut my losses and canceled after 6 days. Never rent form...
