This is not your father's pub. It's much better. The large windows running the entire length of the space afford good views of the downtown skyline, a great place to sit and relax as time goes by. Service is quick and friendly, although I arrived just as the pub was opening. I enjoyed a martini, a beer, and an all meat pizza, and after a 30% tip, paid about $36.
As a transit advocate, I'm happy that this place is near both 15 minute bus service (right off 300 West with the No. 9) and within walking distance of the Ballpark TRAX station -- just right around the corner. So, consider using public transit to get here, the environment could use a break.

Read moreThis is a fun hidden gem of a neighborhood bar. The atmosphere is welcoming. The patio is spacious. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's very much a place where friends meet and hang out. The beer and whiskey selection is impressive. The prices points are fair. I only tried the nachos, so far, which were underwhelming, however the portion was filling and a solid value. They have Wifi so you can work over lunch, if you'd like.
