How would it be to live in the 20th century where most everything is controlled via technology. Well I learned yesterday that targets app/system hasnât caught their systems up with the times. There I was in the comfort of my home checking the availability of a product I needed to gift and this store was showing âin stock.â I pack up the little ones and drive on out. To my surprise, I get there and they are âsold out.â Surely what I was after was purchased within the last hour of me checking online. Welp⌠there I was checking the availability of the next target. If you asked me if I drove 10 miles to get to the location showing âin stock,â I would disappointedly answer, âyes.â Got to the next target and they show âin stock.â -just a side note⌠you know how Walmart can pinpoint what aisle your product your looking for is on, can you guys do that too? Instead of the department itâs in. If thatâs your way of getting people to walk down all your aisles then I guess I get it. I wouldnât want to miss out on a sale opportunity either.- I walk down all the aisles and canât find what Iâm looking for. I keep refreshing the app and it shows â2 in stock.â Well I only need 1. So hunting for it was really annoying. I find a store associate and ask her. She looks up what Iâm looking for and she goes, âwe donât have any.â She looks up the inventory at other stores and sure enough she tells me the last target I was at has 10. đłđ I was like, I was just there and they showed out of stock. Now I didnât actually walk into the store because as those of us who live in the 20th century, you assume their systems would be with the times and up to date. My solution. Donât shop at target. 𤣠Wasted my time and gas thinking your systems...
Read moreToday an unruly customer came in the store and refused to wear a mask in the store. Believing that she was above everyone else, on top of having no concern for fellow customers and employees. She was absolutely belligerent and unable to accept the company policy of required masks. This customer began to verbally harass the employee (Jaye). The customer was calling this employee horribly offensive names, and being transphobic toward them. Jaye stuck up for themself and did not allow this cruel customer to endanger employees and customers by not wearing a mask, breaking Salt Lake County rules as well as Targetâs. Target management decided the best course of action was to terminate Jayeâs employment, not backing this loyal employee and in turn allowing this selfish customer to think she was in the right. I am deeply disappointed in this locationâs management and question their ability to do what is right. I hope that someone at the corporate level can make this right. Until then, I will no longer be shopping at Target. In todayâs social climate, we cannot allow this behavior from patrons. We must stick with one another during these extremely difficult times. I believe that the management at this location is either transphobic, or they are unable to handle tough situations in a fair way. Both are extremely scary. This Target is private property and the employees at the store had every right to deny this customer to shop when they were unwilling to comply with store policy. I hope that this review will reach others and some will realize the wrongs of their actions, or will encourage our community to band together and stand up for what is...
Read moreI want to express how impressed I am with the staff at this location. Most of all Tim, who was working the evening my bicycle was stolen. When I realized my means of transportation had been stolen. Tim approached me with concern empathy and assurance all that could be done would be done. Rarely do you deal with people that are both professional and personable when a customer is upset. People that steal do so because they feel entitled and because they can. Even when caught there is little chance of repercussions that will make them think twice about doing it again. Hah what a joke. Back to Tim. I am not young in age and this is not the first time I have been a victim of theft. However, it is the very first time anyone has done anything useful. I had to call for a ride because I had more than I could carry. Before my ride showed Tim called me to inform me there was video of the theft and that the person had been in the store. He had clear picture of the thief. Omgosh! Incredible and comforting. Sadly, the police were the exact opposite. Doubtful they will ever take the time to look at the evidence. I know I will never see my bike again. Sure would be nice to know for one time that the creep would be held accountable. Just maybe it would be the last time this person would do it again. Cannot place bets since there are no odds. Thank you Tim! An ounce of piece is invaluable! Truly...
