Last week I was at this store for about 40 minutes and I wanted to bring up an incident that I witnessed which deeply concerned me. It is my intention to provide feedback on an employee interaction that I believe was handled inappropriately. During my visit to this store, I observed a situation where the manager, Alan, was yelling at an employee named Cruz in front of all the customers by the registers. I believe Cruz's name to be accurate based on the name printed on my receipt. I understand that Cruz was working two registers simultaneously alone during my visit there, which is commendable considering the workload. However, Alan's response was far from appreciative. His behavior towards Cruz was both unprofessional and embarrassing, especially as it occurred in front of other customers. He yelled at her regarding her management of the two registers. I firmly believe that employees should be treated with respect and dignity, especially in front of customers. It is disheartening to witness such behavior towards dedicated employees like Cruz. Who consistently work hard to provide excellent service. I see her constantly working hard each time I visit the store. This incident has left me concerned about the well-being and morale of your employees.I kindly request that this matter is addressed and appropriate action needs to be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Creating a safe and respectful work environment is crucial for the success of...
Read moreThe staff and volunteers at the Salt Lake Habitat for Humanity ReStore are some of the most helpful and friendly people in have ever dealt with. After two years homeless, living in shelters and my car and couch surfing at friends and family's homes, I finally got on disability and into my own apartment. These folks went above and beyond to help me pick our furniture that would fit my apartment and have me pricing on it that fit my very limited budget. They also make a point of making me feel accepted and valued as a person every time I go there. My interactions with Corey especially have always been positive. She ensures that every interaction with visions is positive and helpful. Great job you guys. You embody the vision of what Habitat for Humanity is supposed to be. Keep up...
Read moreThis store used to be very cheap and the staff were really friendly. However, over time it is getting very expensive and the new employees are very rude. One of them is an old lady, she wanted to sell me a few items $1.00 or $2.00 each. I showed her on Lowes app, that these L brackets are $0.80 at Lowes. She told me so go to Lowes. I have not seen any rude customer service representative like her. These items are donated and should be sold for a fraction of their actual prices but since this lady has been hired, I've been paying alot there. I sent a complain to their boss and hopefully she will be nice to...
