Subway — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Absolutely disgusting!

A few weeks ago I tried this Subway and was pretty grossed out by the fact that one of the girls working behind the counter had on a bracelet that had a dangling piece that kept getting very close to the food she was preparing. I thought that was really gross, but took solace in the fact that I didn't see that piece of her jewelry touch the food.

Well today was a whole different story! While I was waiting to pick up my order I watched the same girl, now without the bracelet but wearing a very dirty looking hoodie, touch her nose with her gloved hand and then immediately start making someone's sandwich. As if it couldn't get any more disgusting, I watched as she reached for some ingredient that was on the far side of the counter and her chest pressed up against the edge of the sandwich she was making and the pull cords for her hood dragged allllllllllllllllll the way across the sandwich.

When you see these sorts of things you really need to ask yourself; if they are being this disgusting our in the open directly in front of customers, how are they handling everything behind the scenes?

I am very curious what the Utah Health Department would have to say about the standards that are being followed at...

I frequent this Subway often but the last 2 times have been terrible. I will no longer be going there. Today was the final straw. I ordered the steak and cheese. I was given 2 level spoons of the meat and the dude was sure to level them off but the problem was I saw about 1/4 of the meat stick inside the cup leaving me with only about 75% of what I was supposed to get. Then they were out of several of the topping choices. The gal who put the vegetables on the sandwich was rude and impatient. I was the only one in the store at the time so it wasn’t like she was trying to hurry to “help” others. Horrible service!! Sandwich was not that great. I can think of many other places I would rather spend my $9.

I am editing my original post. After my review I was contacted by Subway and was offered a sandwich coupon. I used the coupon last week. I was surprised how good the service and sandwich was. I ordered the same steak sandwich so I would have a fair comparison. I noticed that the meat still stuck in the measuring spoon but the employee made sure to shake all the meat onto the sandwich. The service was much better this time around and they were not out of...

All the employees were very friendly, professional and welcoming as ALWAYS. The bathroom was tidy. The restaurant was clean. Tonight (04/14/23) we AGAIN had SPECTACULAR service! KAYLIE-Sandwich Maker went ABOVE and BEYOND with our service and making a couple of DAMN GOOD sandwiches! 🥪 👌 OOOOO..... We were going to get cookies however we thought they were out of the chocolate chip but Kaylie let us know that she had recently pulled fresh ones out and that they were even still warm and soft if we were OK with it. We were more than happy with getting WARM, FRESH cookies 🍪! Love when y'all have them! (HINT, HINT) LOL!... Also I don't know the gentleman who was working with Kaylee as well but he was also very friendly and did a good job at what I was able to see or have him do for us tonight. Great job with your employees...
