I am visiting .I got the combination plate, brisket, sausage and rib. The brisket was extremely dry, I know that it's sold by weight but one rib bone is not good. The sauce didn't help the brisket. Born and raised in San Angelo. I recommend this place with reservations . I give the sausage a 6.5 out of 10. The rib I give 3.5 out of 10. This does not taste like West Central Texas BBQ. Just speaking from my taste buds. 😋 Staff was very friendly, great customer service. I grew up eating BBQ in Texas. I now live in Georgia and this would rank low in Georgia BBQ, which I don't rank high to begin with. There are some that imitate Texas BBQ, that's OK. Please use this comment to improve your business. Thank you. My Brother in James Blount gave your establishment an outstanding review and recommended your restaurant. I didn't want to mention this. I am a retired Chef. Your meat items were at least twelve hours old. There's no way that the brisket and rib was cut the day I ordered. It was extremely dry . That doesn't happen with fresh cut meat unless it was overcooked. I always try to help small businesses. Please accept my criticism as help. I'm not criticisming to hurt but hopefully to help. I am waiting for a reply to my review. Do you care about what people are saying about your establishment?

Still waiting for a reply. Been almost a month, I am still waiting for an answer.STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY 🤔🤔🤔STILL WAITING 🤔🤔🤔🤔 I'm guessing that bad or constructed criticism doesn't matter with restaurant? Bon Appétit!!! I am back in Georgia. I'm disappointed that I didn't receive an answer to my review. But I will let anyone I meet to avoid this restaurant like it has COVID. You thank people when they give you a positive review but don't answer the ones that are negative. You should learn from the negative comments and do your best to...

Hopefully my review gets seen as constructive criticism to help the business do better to bring in more customers. The main reason I went with 2 stars is because the brisket, which I feel should be the star of the show disappointed so much. The brisket was dry and rubbery . I’ve been to many barbecue restaurants and this was the worse . The sausage, pork ribs and turkey were good but nothing amazing . Another reason for two stars is the portions . I paid $50 for my plate and a baked potato and for that price, I’ve seen way more served on my plate. At first I thought they forgot to give me another plate with the rest of my food but no, that was it. Third reason why I gave two stars is because there was no Mac and cheese. I ordered two sides of it and was told there wasn’t anymore and if I’d want some other sides. I told them I’d wait for the Mac and cheese thinking it would be ready in a few minutes I didn’t get the Mac and cheese until after I had long been done with my meal. To top it off, the Mac and cheese was horrible. It was like the box Kraft Mac and cheese but more liquidity. I literally walked over to the garbage can and threw it away. The third reason behind my rating is the baked potato didn’t even come served ready to eat. Every bbq spot I’ve ever been to serves it ready to eat. My girlfriend had to do all the work. So with that being said, I hope this place takes the review and...

We spent in total $60 I had Brisket sandwich With sides and my partner had the pulled pork sandwich With sides. My Son had the macaroni and beans. My Brisket sandwich Was good but greasy. It tasted better with the sauce that they provide. I give that a 6 out of 10. My partner had the pulled pork and described it as eating jail food. 1 out of 10. For my sides my partner and I both had potato salad and the beans. And on the first bite, it was not good at all. The beans weren’t fully cooked, and the potato salad lacked flavor. I tried giving my son the beans and he spit them out, and that’s saying a lot, because he eats everything. I could barely take one bite. 1 Out of 10. My partner ordered banana pudding for him and my son, and enjoyed it quite well. And they would rate it 6 out of 10. And lastly, my son ate his macaroni and he enjoyed it quite well. He is one years old and can’t speak yet, but I would say he would rate it as an 6.5 out of 10. Because he didn’t finish it all. The customer service was awesome and the atmosphere, well there wasn’t really too many people there so 10 out of 10.

And in the words of Keith Lee, this is my opinion you might find the food different to your taste, so please do go by And support...

If you're looking for the absolute best BBQ sandwich in town, look no further than Bodacious. This unassuming little BBQ joint serves up some of the most mouthwatering, succulent BBQ I've ever tasted, and their BBQ sandwich is nothing short of incredible. The sandwich starts with a generous helping of tender, juicy brisket that's been slow-cooked to perfection. The brisket is piled high on a soft, fresh-baked bun that's the perfect vehicle for all that saucy goodness. But what really sets this sandwich apart is the attention to detail that Bodacious puts into every aspect of the dish. The brisket is perfectly seasoned and cooked, with just the right amount of smoky flavor. The sauce is saucin . And the bun is soft and pillowy, with just the right amount of chewiness to hold up to all that delicious BBQ. Overall, I can't recommend bodacious sandwich highly enough. If you're a BBQ fan, this sandwich is an absolute must-try. Trust me, once you've had a taste, you'll be hooked! 👀 🤤 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not a bad little barbecue joint. It seems to be a chain but is run like a local place, with disposable plates and silverware, and a simple menu board. Perfectly serviceable pulled pork, good chopped brisket for a chain, and a very savory smoked sausage. I had the sandwich -- whose name I forget, sadly -- that had chopped smoked sausage and brisket and it was a good combination. The brisket wasn't too greasy and was pretty finely chopped, giving a nice contrast to the diced sausage. Sauces and condiments are all for you to add, too, which is nice. The pickles -- both the dill and sweet -- on the condiment bar were excellent, too! The sauce was fairly middle of the road, trending sweet, with a little red pepper bite. Despite being this far west, they actually had decent sweet tea, too. Service was extremely good, with friendly folks behind the counter. The kitchen is partially open and looks spotless, too.
