Sunset Jr. Burgers & Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in San Angelo

The people were nice, the place was clean. The burger was good the tots were good. Here's the deal though. I was underwhelmed when the food was presented to me, not in the quality but simply was a kids size meal. It was a 3 bite burger the side of tots was sparse even if i asked if they were large sides because most places load you up with the fries or tots and my wife and i usually can't eat 2 full orders I left hungry and it's not like we're huge eaters or people *A homeless man came in and he was allowed to use the women's restroom to obviously do some business and shower up. (Ok, ok let the dude have some humanity but he couldn't wait for the men's restroom to open up???? owner should've been direct with him).

I really really wanted to love the place and come back, unfortunately it didn't check my boxes. In a sea of burger places here's my suggestion take it or leave it.

Get bigger buns, make your patty thicker, lay on the cheese and veggies and double the size of your sides. Come up with a $$ amount for a meal deal and satisfy some cravings and hunger. You have a good foundation and burger just fill some bellies up, you're in Texas.

In the end, we wished we had went to Whataburger and had full bellies because we had lots to do the rest of that day. Sorry, I didn't want to leave this because they were indeed...

We ordered two Philly cheese steaks, fries, tots and a burger. The burger and Phillies were WAY over cooked, chewy and awful. My husband and I were so disappointed. We were looking forward to our yummy Phillies all day today. We paid almost 7 dollars for a tiny burnt burger for our son. He said, "Mommy we could have just went to my favorite place and got a happy meal instead!" It's gross! The fries were good, just cold and the ranch was perfection. Money is tight these days for us and like most everybody in America. We don't just get to eat out whenever, so when we do, I want my food to be delicious and worth the money we spent. 45 dollars down the drain. I will say the staff seemed super friendly. Five...

my husband and I ate there for the first time today and it was extremely delicious and a very nice setting. we chose their classic Staples he got the cheeseburger and I got the Texas classic cheesesteak and I will say that is the best cheesesteak I have ever had they use ribeye meat and as soon as she sets your plate down you can smell it yum yum it's delicious and I would recommend this to anybody there cheeseburgers are classic and delicious and the fries that come with them are a nice surprise they are light and fluffy but still filling and in a different way than we're used to having them.... *highly recommended and of course we will be going back to try their buffalo...
