Okay, I'm sorry, but I can't recommend them and definitely don't go with Laura for alterations.

I made an appointment, brought my friend, and they lost my appointment time. They said they would make it work (meaning squeeze me in). The lady I worked with told me to just "pick things off the walls and try them on" and really didn't help me narrow down a style. Additionally, she kept looking at my friend and not me when talking about styles, payment, general information, etc. I wish I was making this up, I would ask a question and she would look at my friend to answer my question.

I finally found "the dress" and when I said I wanted this particular dress the attendant said, "oh you want the plain dress?".....ouch...out of all the adjectives it's called the plain dress. No elegant, not sleek, but plain.

But honestly, the reason I'm giving them one star is that they recommended a woman named Laura for alterations. Laura seemed capable and quoted me 175 for everything. Kept my dress for 6 weeks and .....didn't do a thing right. I panicked and cried and broke out in hives during the fitting because I only had a week till the wedding. Laura asked me to wait 4 hours for her to re-alter my dress, and it was still terrible.

Her solution---She told me I would have to sit up straight and she would have to cut off circulation to my arms if I wanted it tight enough so that no one could see down my chest. She kept my dress for 6 weeks and I had to rush order alterations from another and pay nearly double...to undo Lauras work.

I paid so much money to have someone undo Laura's mistake-- I just wanted my 50 dollar deposit back from laura...not asking her to pay, not asking for anything but my money back.

This bridal boutique said they would help me get my 50 dollar deposit back but nothing. No help. Just a lot of back and forth phone calls but no progress whatsoever.

So I can't really recommend them. Both this company and Laura added stress to my wedding day that dampened it. My "say yes to the dress" moment got crushed when the attendant called it plain, and they don't stand behind who they recommend for alterations. See pictures for...

So to start, I wanted nothing more than to buy a local dress instead of something from David’s Bridal. Call me picky but I would rather go local. That being said, I totally get why people actually travel to get dresses from here. The style selection is amazing. Literally found my absolute dream dress online, they had it hanging. I was honestly worried because I didn’t go in with the intention to buy but rather just look. And I told the sweet lady who helped me that. She never acted like it was a waste of her time or anything. She was super sweet. Anyways, tried on my dream dress I found online and I loved it. Truly did. But she suggested I try some different styles just because. I do not love shopping but I took her advice just in case. Five dresses later, I tried on the one. This sweet woman operated the camera for me because my mother couldn’t be there with me due to travel right now, never complained, listened and answered all of my mom’s questions, took countless pictures for us, I mean- ABOVE AND BEYOND. I am beyond excited to have found the dress, which is absolutely nothing I imagined wanting surprisingly. This is a top notch local business and I highly highly recommend them to any brides to be. I was actually going to cancel my appointment but y’all were able to help me include my mom in all of it without even the slightest annoyance and that to me is amazing!...

This place is hands down the best place in San Angelo to look for/find a wedding dress. The experience that I had here made dress shopping such an easy and fun experience, which as a bigger women some women will know is not an easy or common thing to find. When you first walk in the shop it is light and airy and the dresses are beautifully on display where you can pick several out easily. They have ample fitting rooms to try on the dresses and ample space in the shop to fit a large crowd. ( I took 7 people with me to my fitting) However, the best part of this shop hands down is the wonderfully sweet Madison who works incredibly hard to make you feel like a million bucks. She is extremely patient and kind and is willing to work with you on whatever you need. I hope this place continues to stay open and thrive because every bride deserves a dress fitting experience like I had here. So thank you Bridal Boutique and a huge thank you to Madison for making...
