We spent $59 for our food.
As we arrived into the restaurant, there was confusion as to where we are to be seated or just sit anywhere. But the waitress saw us and suggested places to sit. Once we chose a place to sit, we were immediately brought chips and salsa. The green salsa for me was delicious and the other red salsaās to my mother were delicious to her. I did not care for them. Overall, 5 out of 10
We ordered the fries, beans, and rice for the kids. For the most part they loved it. The only thing that my niece did not like was the lack of salt in the beans which I added. And she immediately started to eat it with her chips. my son really liked the fries. They were nice and crisp, and he was munching down on them. Overall 6.5 out of 10
My mother and I ordered sour cream enchiladas, and for me they were delicious. My mother thought they were OK, just lacking salt. Which of course we added. What was included was the rice and beans and a small salad which was amazing. Overall, 6 out of 10
The service was lacking a bit our waitress didnāt come by to see if we needed more drinks but other than that, it was good. Overall, 5 out of 10
Would I return? Yes I would. They also have many other stuff in their menu which Iām very excited to try.
And In the words of Keith Lee, this is just my opinion your taste might be different from my taste. And I do recommend yāall try it out....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām honestly sad to post this review- my Son & I were so excited to try this place, but⦠Now having visited, I canāt help but wonder WHY this restaurant is highly rated? (currently 4.3 stars)
This is our experience/opinion from our visit today, 3/17/22. The chips tasted store bought & rather stale, the watery āsalsaā seemed to just be tomato sauce with a handful of cilantro & diced onion; not a great start.
Then came our dinner, sigh⦠We both ordered the Queso Dip Enchilada Plate, which came with 3 Enchiladas covered in White Queso, Rice & Beans. I chose the Shredded Chicken version & my Son had the Cheese.
Here we go: The corn tortillas seemed to be straight out of a bag, cold, then filled & coated with semi-warm queso, served with extremely bland/undercooked rice & very dry (maybe even canned by the flavor) refried beans. Most (especially Mexican Restaurants) serve their meals on ceramic plates which allow staff to pop them in an oven to toast & melt, but not here, they chose plastic- so because of this, your meal automatically arrives cold after being placed on their choice in plates.
I really wanted to enjoy supporting another local establishment, as we do, but unless this was just a fluke of a particularly bad experience, I just canāt see us...

I went to casa jalisco in high hopes to try the food after seeing how good the pictures look and after recommendations from friends.I came in, notice right away the interior had a very vibrant feel, with a comfortable seating arrangement and bright lighting.i sat down and was served on right away, with excellent service.Wait time for the food was faster than most restaurants.Food was served on the these fancy square plates,in which made the food more appealing.i had the chorizo and egg plate, all was perfect i ate the hashbrowns first all while steadily saving the best for last. When finally getting to the main meal, I was unfortunate to find a hair wrapped in my chorizo. After that I couldn't bring myself to eat,due to unsanitary conditions of this.I told a server ,then they remove the plate, apologized and I was told I wouldn't be charged for the plate. Then I come to pay for the rest of the food. only to discuss how I was given a discount, rather than having the plate taken off the ticket.I am surely disappointed and will never return. Beware because looks can be...
