I hadn’t been to Crumbl since July 2023 and decided to stop in for an Easter treat, hoping to have the same positive experience I remembered. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The register worker was noticeably rude, and not one of the additional 5-6 cookie makers behind the counter smiled or acknowledged anyone. The entire vibe was cold and unwelcoming which took away from the joy of the visit. I understand it can be busy at times, but basic kindness and customer service should never be optional-especially when you're paying premium prices for a premium product. As someone who used to enjoy Crumbl, this one visit was enough to remind me why I stopped coming. No matter how good the cookies are, if the experience feels this dismissive, it’s just not worth coming back. I truly hope the owner sees this and takes steps to address the customer service culture in the store. To top it all off, I still left a tip because the screen prompts you to and it feels awkward not to. In hindsight, I really regret doing so. Tipping should reflect appreciation for good service, and unfortunately, there was none to speak of during the visit. It felt more like an obligation than a thank-you and that just added to the overall...
Read morecookies- pretty good service- abhorrent I typically only put in the energy to post positive reviews at amazing places, but in this case I think I could help by warning some people
The environment is cold and unfriendly. Placing an order is like using one of those self serve kiosks except worse since you have to talk to a csr that has (at best) dead eyes. It's possible the associates just suffer from social anxiety, but also possible they were purposely withholding greetings and assistance because they didn't think we belonged in there. I'm feeling like it's the second point considering that this place seems to have great reviews by others.
In any case, that's not really what bothers me. What bothered me is that on our second visit to the store, the associate was more aggressively irritated than aloof. They low key slammed the cookies around and muttered under their breath about my mom's weight. Like???
I don't know if the unwelcome atmosphere all boils down to fat-phobia or what, but be aware because whatever it is, it's bad vibes.
and not that it should even matter AT ALL, but my mom is...
Read moreMost of the cookies are just meh. The sugar cookie is usually amazing while I'm eating it but then the aftertaste isn't good at all and I have to brush my teeth. The chocolate chip cookie is a waste of calories. Like seriously if you think the chocolate chip cookie is good I weep for you that you've never had better. Some of the other flavors are occasionally very good, but it's an expensive crapshoot. This past week my husband "surprised" me with some cookies and I apparently did a really bad job of hiding my disappointment, so to make him not feel bad I tried them anyway hoping one of them was good. He can't eat them because of his food allergies and I didn't want to just throw them in the trash, but it was definitely wasted calories. They're not terrible, but for how much they cost in money and calories, definitely...
