We got here pretty early which I thought was a good idea cause after we were sat it seems like it started filling up fast. Well first we were greeted with a warm welcome I told the lady at the cashier that there was 7 of us but it ended up being 6 in the end. She put some tables together for us then we sat I got some coffee while my husband got a bottle of water, the coffee was hot and tasty the rest of our party had gotten there like 5min after we sat. The dining room area is kind of small but they do have several of table tops and booths along with bar seating towards the left of the entrance when you are coming in. We didn’t take long to order cause we were starving my husband got the chicken fried steak with over easy eggs with some wheat toast, I order the breakfast plate 2 eggs scrambled instead of hashbrowns I got slices of tomato’s with 2 sausage patties and wheat toast. The food came out within 20-25min after our waitress took our order I would like to mention that our waitress was nice and attentive. I am only giving 4 stars because 1; I didn’t get my wheat toast my husband had to share his wheat toast with me or my 2 sausage patties. 2; Like I mentioned the dining room is pretty small once more people started to come in, it started to get pretty loud in there to the point that I couldn’t hear their music that they were playing over a speaker.

Oh... My goodness gracious. What can I say about this place except that it is one of the BEST breakfast places I have had the pleasure of being part of. Service was friendly and efficient (I wish I had more money to leave for tips), place was clean and tables were sanitized as soon as patrons left, and the food simply scrumptious. SO and I were trying to find a place for breakfast after we slept late and missed the free bfast at our hotel so after looking around in Google, choose this based on reviews. Best choice ever. I had a shrimp omelette with hash browns and toast while my wif chose the simpler eggs and bacon and toast with a side of freshly sliced tomatoes. Everything was perfect. From the toast to the eggs to the bacon and to the omelette. Should have taken a pic (sorry) but definitely worth the 6 minute wait. Thank you!!!!

I spent 20 years working in food service and it’s rare that I find a place where I’m completely satisfied with with all aspects of the meal. Outside the place has the look and feel of a classic diner and honestly I didn’t get my hopes to high but when I walked inside the ambiance completely changed. It’s clean, nice tables, real glasses not plastic cups, and delicious food with great service. The presentation on the plate was spot on, the food wasn’t to greasy even though I ordered hash browns with fried eggs and sausage. My eggs were perfect, the unsweet tea with lemon was refreshing, and I will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone in the San Angelo area.

I would never ever go back there and also DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. We went there to have breakfast today. It was my first time but my husband’s second time. He liked the place because of the owner Mr. Chu’s hospitality & coolness. But the workers? Not so much... Everything was good and the server was nice until we had some issues with my food. I ordered a breakfast meal that 2 eggs were included. But there was a piece of hair on top of my eggs. I told the server about the hair and asked her (politely) if I could get new eggs and also wanted a small plate that I can separate the eggs from my original plate. Her attitude changed instantly and she didn’t even say sorry. She just said okay. I put the eggs with the hair on the side of our table but it was just sitting there the whole time. I’ve worked food service industry and it’s so normal in this type of situation that you take the food back and talk with the kitchen staff. I actually waited about 10 mins to asked other staff to remove the eggs off our table. She also apologized to us. Another 10 mins past. Total 20 mins past since I requested new “sunny side up” eggs. And they still didn’t bring my eggs. We got very frustrated and the original server never came by to our table to check on us since I addressed the issue with hair. We couldn’t wait any longer. We finished our food. And my eggs were still missing. We didn’t want to stay there any more and the server saw us getting up and paying as well. I told my husband check our bill and make sure they didn’t double charge the eggs. We looked and that stupid server added 2 extra eggs on our bill. And she started yelling back at kitchen and the cashier and said “cancel the eggs because she never got it!” She didn’t even look at me or apologize. She was just straight rude.

Oh and the food sucks. I had a chunk of salt on one part of my porkchop and everything tasted...

We will definitely not be returning to this establishment. I have a few complaints.

We went in on a Saturday morning around 10:15. It was packed, but I expect that from any restaurant serving breakfast in San Angelo, as there are not many. It took over an HOUR to get our food. Many other tables had the same complaint. Service staff were apologizing for the wait and recommending that customers go elsewhere.

We have a 4 month old daughter. There is no changing table at this restaurant.

Apparently there is only one chef, the owner, who refuses to hire additional cooks because "that's the way he does things." When the chef gets "behind" (what does this mean?? That it will take 2 hours instead of one for my food??) he just closes down the restaurant until he catches up... WHAT??? How about having less tables so that you don't get so many customers? What an idiot. I'm sorry, but those are poor business practices. I wish I could have told him off.

For waiting an hour, the food was not great. I probably could have made a better breakfast at home in less time.

I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning. That would have been the icing...
