To Bubba's Manager If you are reading this before June 2nd. I am celebrating my Daughter Alyssa's Graduation. She is passing the stage with Salutaorian Honors. Therefore, her ceremony starts at 5:30 pm @ St Philip . Right after the ceremony we will be going to your restraunt June 2, 2018 with 14 people. Now, so far I love your restraunt. I have not experienced any thing wrong with the food or service. Please, make that day a very pleasant evening for us to remember. One thing I find disturbing was I called to find out if I can leave my daughter's graduation cake there before I go to the ceremony, and the girl who answered said, y'all are not responsible if the cake is damaged or stolen. I can understand damage due to mistakes and accidents, but why would anyone steal a cake from Bubba's kitchen? The only ones back there would be the staff. So, my husband and I are shock by the response of that young lady...now we are having 2nd thoughts to even go on that day. Can I trust y'all with the cake that means a lot to me & my daughter? Taking her to Bubba's is part of her Graduation gift..Plus, if we go there. I want Veronica as my waitress. She gave good service to us on our 1st visit to Bubba's..
June 2nd of 2018 My Daughter's Big Day of Graduation
Everything was a Hit. OMG, Bubba's got us in quick. We didn't have to wait long either. Ok, I called at 4:30 pm I talked to a Manager to request for tables for 15 people. She put me on the waiting list. I explained that there was no way I be able to call in the middle of my Daughter's Graduation ceremony and call to put us on the waiting list. I would miss the whole thing I told the Manager. My Daughter first and last name starts with an "A" and she was going 1st. So, she kindly put me on the list for 15 people. She did explain about still waiting 45 to an hour and other stuff. I was ok with it. So, the ceremony didn't take too long. Sadly there was only 20 people who graduated all together. So, it lasted an hour. We got there with all of our guest. I checked in. They gave me this thingy. So, the most we waited was 10 minutes. So, we got perfect tables close together and my guest whom never went to Bubba's and never tried it was excited and loved the food options there. It was AMAZING we all had a blast. Our waitress was not Veronica, but his young lady. She was nervous I guess because of 15 people. Plus, it was packed in there. Anyway, she gave us good service. Minor hiccups, but it was not her fault. She was coming with our drinks and this careless waiter rams right into her spilling our drinks on top of her and we got splattered with it, too. He didn't even apologized to her or us. Other than that she went on with a brave face, and was able to continue with our orders. Such a hard working girl. But, Thank you Bubba's for a beautiful night. We didn't take the cake after all and take that chance. I'm glad we didn't because it was crowed, and no way our cake would of survived to the table. So, we just decorated at home with graduation stuff with balloons send our guest to eat cake and ice cream. So, it all worked out...Amen Thank you Jesus...Glory to God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. God made a...
Read moreI don’t usually write bad reviews, but our visit yesterday was pretty unacceptable. We arrived at Bubba’s around 12:24 PM and were told there would be a 15-minute wait, which was fine. We were seated at 12:41 PM, and our waitress took our drink order right away but it took about 20 minutes just to get the drinks and place our food order. At that point it was already 1:00 PM, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. There were plenty of empty tables around us, so we figured maybe they were short-staffed. We waited patiently, but after 45 more minutes, still no food, no updates, and the waitress never came to check on us or apologize for the delay. We were hoping to enjoy lunch with our daughter before she had to go to work but after waiting over an hour total, we finally told the waitress we’d just pay for our drinks and leave. She called the manager, who apologized and said she didn’t realize we’d been waiting that long. She offered to rush the food out, but at that point it didn’t make sense to stay and have to rush through lunch. When we left, we noticed other tables around us still hadn’t gotten their food either, and by then people were waiting at the entrance and outside even though there were still empty tables inside. It really seemed like they were short-staffed or something was going on behind the scenes. We even noticed our waitress arguing with a host. The manager did comp our drinks, which we appreciated, but overall the experience was disappointing. We left around 1:50 pm. We ended up grabbing fast food and eating in the car so our daughter could make it to work on time. Hopefully they can work on communication and timing, because the service just didn’t match the kind of experience Bubba’s...
Read moreWent here about 2 weeks ago and knew we should’ve gone elsewhere. Right before we pulled in I told my wife I hear there have been a lot of break-ins on trucks in this lot. Sure enough there were 4 vehicles hit, shattered windows littered the row closest to the access road. My wife insisted on eating there was like, well if we get a handicap spot we’ll stay. So I wait for spot to open up and we realize their cameras facing the lot are facing downward, which we thought was odd. We proceed inside after a few minutes of waiting to be seated and I was trailing behind the fam and notice my wife talking to a hostess. Apparently the hostesses had an issue with my wife or just felt like being disrespectful. I said look we waited here on your call, let’s let it go and eat. Then we order food and drinks and the server/bartender that brings me my drink was weird about it and gave me a weird stare in my face which we all thought was odd. I said, man I hope they didn’t spit in my drink. So I inspect it and found what looked like mucus or some thick substance that isn’t usually found in Micheladas. So I canceled the drink and went to the RR, when I was walking back I noticed the 2 hostesses tiptoeing with another young girl trying to look at our table to which they found something funny again. They looked over and were shocked to see me watching them, then I told my wife okay I believe you now and we’re gonna just go. I advised the manager/co-owner of the situation and thought the girls were disrespectful, especially since we had our children with us. He apologized and said he’d comp us thru email in which we never received. Never going back to any of their locations after...
