We had a small gathering for a birthday party there 5 people total .From the beginning everything was very unorganized once we were seated it was warm in there then we ordered out drinks 2 margaritas and sodas with extra ice .They took a long time to bring the margaritas which were supposed to be frozen and they were very watery and the sodas barley had any ice .Then we ordered the food and that also took a pretty good while to come .Once it did the ribs were tough and dry the fried shrimp looked refried not fresh the croissants were over cooked on the outside sort of raw on the inside the bourbon glazed salmon was brought with nothing on it and the green beans were not cooked they were very waxy and not chewable I tried to have them exchanged but they were out of this and that so I ended up getting the corn which also looked old we order 3 salmon plates all three came the same way plain then I asked for the glaze and they brought a very watery like brown sauce which was very bitter not sweet .The fish was very dry the baked potatoes were very dry .And when asked to exchange the margaritas they said ok brought 2 more and charged for them .I contacted the customer service 3 different times on the website over the course of a month and didnt get a response and I finally tried the customer service number that didnt work the number is out of service then i speak to a manager at another location who tells me she will txt who ever is over that location who never calls me back so i call the location and spreak to the manager on duty who says he never got any of the numerous emails from the complaints and said he could only give me 30 gift card cause it had to long??? I spent 130 dollars on food tgat was not good i could see that night is was pointless to complain we were just guna get more dry or reheated food then he tells me i was guna give you 20 but ill make it 30.that same night we tried to order coffee and they sais that was broken and margarita machinr was broken and they could only gey one fixed so they fixed the margarita machine .I have never had such bad food and service with cheddrrs . *adding to this review I did contact the guest relations again as I was instructed and here we are several weeks later a noooo response ! Just as before nothing has been done I've been trying to take care of this matter since July 22 2023 and any person I did talk to I called and nobody none of the managers I talkes to didn't have any answers or help in anyway everyone just pass...

As soon as my children (4 and 2yo) and I were shown to our table, I went to take them to wash their hands. No more than 5mins later, we returned to our table, and the same hostess had removed/ revoked our seat and my son's highchair. Once I was able to make contact with her, she said, she thought we had left (after 5mins??)..OK. Next, our waiter took our drink order, but didn't return for quite some time (19mins by my watch). When he finally returned and I ordered, we waited another 25 minutes for a chicken sandwich and salmon entree...Strike one. Then, the same waiter handed over the check as soon as we began eating (wt??) But after searching for him for some time, I had to ask another waiter for a takeout container. After pushing the call button on the table top device, i still waited for another 15mins(with the call button flashing)before I got fed up and walked to the hostess station. Strike two. I waited for her to seat 2 separate guests before I tried to pay my bill and voice my complaint. When she returned, I told her that I just wanted to pay the bill and that the service was terrible. She put her finger up in front of her face , as if to gesture for me to hold on while she was preparing to greet patrons who were entering the restaurant (Ohn)..Strike three.. I explained that I had been patiently waiting and that I just wanted to pay my bill. She insisted that I wait until she seated the 3rd group, who had just walked in the door. I told her I had waited far too long, had horrible service, and she could either call a manager, take my payment or I was leaving. She blankly stared at me and asked the ppl who had just arrived, how many ppl were in their party. I'm done and you're OUT! I will certainly be following up with the manager. Visitors of Texas, don't patronize Cheddars or any place like this. If the service isn't good, just leave. They have already inflated the prices, so if you don't tip well/or at all due to the bad service, they really don't care. These establishments go for quantity instead of quality. Usually they're rushing you through the meal so they can cram more ppl in. But this was just poor service from entry to exit. Over 2hrs of being ignored and overlooked and my babies never finished their burger....
Read moreZero stars. We went to Cheddar's for my daughter's birthday. We were a table of 6. Soon after we sat down the waitress took our drinks and appetizer order. We waited about 10 minutes before our drinks arrived and the waitress took our food order. Waited for maybe another 5 minutes when I asked our waitress about the status of the appetizer. I did not want it served when we get our meal. She said she will check on it. A few minutes later our appetizer finally arrives. After about 15 minutes waiting for our food, my daughter, and only my daughter, gets her plate. After a few more minutes pass by, I asked the waitress where the rest of the food was. About 10 minutes later my plate shows up with mashed potatoes instead of a loaded baked potato, but that is all. Nobody else received their food. Later, a manager was going from table to table to see if everything is good. I told him that my daughter received her plate about 10 minutes ago, I just received mine, I was supposed to have loaded baked potato and I got regular mashed potatoes, and I want to know where the rest of the food is. He said he will go find out and be right back. Finally, after my daughter finished her food and I was halfway done with mine, the rest of the order was brought to our table. The manager never came back with an answer as to why our food took so long and why it was served in a disorderly fashion. No apology, I'm sorry. or even a small discount for the way we were served. I will never be going back to this place. The total bill came out to $129.63. I always leave a 25% tip for good to great service but with the service we had, a $32 tip turned into a $0 tip.
