Went in to get a Treat‼️ Founders day is my fav...walked in about 8:15 or so it's Labor Day evening no greeting no hello nada. did not catch her name but she had two braids and glasses. I asked her if they had syrup or just chocolate fudge to put on top of my Founders Day. She clearly did not know the difference between chocolate syrup and chocolate fudge; she decided that she would educate me and tell me that there was fudge inside of the founders day ice cream...I told her I knew that and I understand that but I wanted chocolate syrup. after she had slathered fudge all over the top of my ice cream she asked me if I would like to have it scraped off🥴 I told her no thank you just cancel the whole thing.🤷...maybe if her attitude had been a little bit better I may have considered allowing her to scrape the fudge from the top of my ice cream. We felt as if we were bothering them the entire time over there so we simply packed our ice cream up and Left. dear owner please put your staff in check it is really not good business to have folks with attitudes working in the evenings realize there's no one else to really do it but at the same time it really helps to be nice to customers they do return occasionally🙄
PS.. I saw the other young lady who was working go and take her own personal plastic spoon get a scoop of ice cream from the ice cream area and take a nice taste of her own🤪 she was a lot nicer😆 so I guess we can allow her to just help herself to the ice cream with their own personal spoon. I just hope she...
Read moreWe were arriving late to San Antonio TX and went to the closest Cold Stone Creamery - Helotes TX- before checking in our hotel. The web and the place's door had a store hours sign ranging from 11:00 am to 11:00 (23:00) P.M. We were at the place's door at 10:00 (22:00) p.m. There were some young kids being turned back and told the place was closed. I approached the door and saw the doors' sign stating the hours of operation I cite above. There was also a cardboard sign right on top of the doors' sign reflecting "special day" closing hours as 10:00 (22:00) p.m. An employee briefly opened the door and told us that it was closed as per the manager's orders. I showed him the doors' sign and mentioned the web's hours of operation too. The employee stated "I'm sorry but we're closed and pointed at the cardboard sign. We left and as we were driving out, we noticed another couple of young kids being turned away. The words "false advertisement" which I have not thought of in a long time popped right out of my mind. I guess their business is booming to the point that they now have the luxury of turning customers and...
Read moreBusiness Review: It's so sad that I've been forced to leave a review particularly about the owner/franchisee (a middle age caucasian male). As we stepped into the creamery, this man didn't even look at my brother and I. It was written all over his face that he was not even comfortable looking at us. It baffles me that there still are such racist people in our society. Unfortunately, solely because of this NOT-SO gentle--man, I'll never step foot in this creamery. Furthermore, this store hasn't only lost my business, they've lost the business of 17 families in the neighborhood, as well. Advice: Treat your customers with kidness and smile. Retaining customers help gain more customers. If you cannot retain your current consumers, you will continue to lose business. Comment: This review is absolutely on rational basis and is focused on a business perspective. I am a 34 year male with ownership of 9 different businesses. I only speak for myself -- you build a business empire from the group up with a simple and yet irreplacable gesture...
