My family and I have been coming to this location for a long while. Up until today we’d always had fantastic service, however, I was so off put by our visit that I’m willing to travel further just for better customer service.
To be accurate, our visit took place on July 22nd, 2019 at 5:57pm. The Cashier (Vivian) appeared to be a new employee, if she’s not, she needs more supervision. She was unorganized and seemed overwhelmed, mind you, we were the only group in line at the time.
Upon receiving our food we noticed items missing, we were right. Our order was short a fry (which really is no biggie we just needed to ask right?). We called a lobby attendant and made her aware of the issue, to which she was less than apathetic and said “Okay.”
Taking her time she went and retrieved the item. She came by and made her presence aware with a “here you go,” just as we were midway through prayer. For a restaurant that prides itself in its values, the employees are sub par at best.
Right as we prepared to dig in we noticed another item was incorrect. The cashier attempted to give us a better deal by separating out the price of a meal as we only wanted water as the beverage. Upon doing so, she messed up one of the orders entirely. Naturally, I went to front counter and made the (what appeared to be the manager) aware that I wanted the correct sandwich.
The manager then let me know that she charged me for the wrong sandwich and then he’d have to charge me to correct the issue. Now the charge was only $0.65 so the price wasn’t the issue.
What genuinely bothered me was the absolute lack customer service presented by the man who conveniently was not wearing a name tag but was wearing a blue polo. I’m one to accept handouts nor did I expect him to give me anything for free nor did I request it.
I simply wanted for him to become aware of the issue, acknowledge that in the same transaction two opportunities to better assist the customer appeared and both were spent recklessly. Heck, a simple “let me take care of it, I’m sorry about that,” would’ve sufficed. But unfortunately, the customer service much like my patronage at this location is no longer present.

I feel like bad reviews are bc people don’t get their way bc they are used to getting what they want. Using “customers are always right”. That’s not always the case. Be mindful of how busy they are. These workers are not robots. They work hard to provide good service and still get rude customers that will complain about any little thing. Of course there are a lot of good customers who understand bc they know what it’s like to work or have worked in the service industry. Humble yourself, geez. For instance, complaining about how the worker didn’t provide or do anything bc you wanted a substitute for the wrap. I’ve ordered the wrap plenty of times. It comes 2 ways ( reg wrap and veggie) bc they are made by hand and the ingredients are the same all day per ceo. I used to work at Chick-fil-A not too long ago. Or you are so used to getting such hands on service and being spoiled, that’s great but it’s not always going to be like that. I’m sure they do their best even when they are having bad days as well. Pretty sure if there is an issue with your food the manager will take care of it. The owners of this establishment from what I have seen and heard give back a lot on their community. Read moreUPDATE: 24 September 2024. It's been awhile since we've had beloved Chick-fil-a, as they were closed for quite a while doing upgrades to their building. I'm delighted to find that the building has upgraded in a positive way. Service and food are, as before, wonderful!! Kudos, Chick-fil-A!!
I LOVE Chick-fil-a!! I love their food (I always get the original sandwich and usually get their waffle fries) and that's my husband's favorite, too. The service is limited to drive through, or delivery but no dine in right now. The drive through line at 1pm today was double lines that both wound back to the curb. However, their fabulous logistics for moving those lines was running hard as usual. They deploy several workers, at least two per line, to place your order and credit card payments using a hand held device that somehow speaks to employees in the restaurant. In a few minutes, an employee hustles out to your car and delivers your order, and even moves barriers to let you out. Fantastic system!! Exactly what 21st Century drive through should be!
