*Food was lukewarm at best. Tacos used yo come with lettuce tomatoes and cheese. Tomatoes now cost hopping 80 cents morel.
The been burritos are $2.59 and a crunchy iron soft taco is $1.89. Beans are not more expensive than meat. This makes me wonder what is in the taco. Soy and/or some bioengineering food? . The service is lame. I ordered a drink and had to ask for my cup.
*The atmosphere was clean, but horrible dinning because at every table but one, you are blinded by the sun. Anytime between 5pm and 7pm the sum will blind diners. You need yo install window louvers or blinds that can be lowered and raised.
*The one bright spot was that the restroom was cleaner than other Taco Bell locations I have visited.
*There was a table tent advertising to get food delivered on the app. It stes delivery not available at every location. This stor had a total of 3 employees including the lead or manager. If delivery is offered, it'd leave the store with 2 employees. God fobid should they get busy. It would keep diners waiting for food or make ca K ers for delivery wonder if they have been forgotten.
*While at my meal I estimated they took in $47, including my order. If the two employees make $10 per hour and the lead makes say $12, in the50 minutes I was here the employees each made approximately $6.61 each and thevlead made $8. The total labor was $21.22. This means labor brought the profit to $25.78.. Then, consider sals packets, cups for drinks, napkins, paper to wrap tacos/burritos/etc., electricity, ans water. Profit margins are slim because franchise owner gets a cut as was as the Taco Bell Corporation.
It might be wise to not charge for things like tomatoes on a taco in order to please customers and not price a standard burrito 70 cents more than a taco. This might increase...
Read moreWe ordered with no problem. Told her mild taco sauce. Got to window and paid. When giving me change, bills and coins, she wasn't fully facing the drive thru window. She of tried to drop money in my hand and some blew away. Had to get out of car an pick it up. She said nothing. She handed us order and looked stoic. We drove off. When we checked order she had forgotten the hot sauce. It wasn't worth going to back of frove thru line just for hot sauce. This all took place anout 2pm on Saturday April 25, 2020. This is mot to say she needs to be fired. It is yo say if she'd quit unnecessary chatter with other coworkers and give umdivided attention to job, shw might have better customer relations; especially when it comes to chganhe back and not getting order completely right. I asdume she was asdigned drive thru for her shift. If not for Covid Virus rulrs, I would have hone im and spoken ti managemrnt A grnersl Taco Bell complaint is, does the company buy the brst cheese in the wotld. My fiancee order ectra cheese for 4 rehukar cruchy tacos. Those tacos normally cost about $1.10 each. The extra cheese cost $2.40. That's insane. Do the math! Y3hat makes each taco about $1.70 each. That made the cost id the extra cheese over 50% of the cost of a taco. 50% of $1.10 is 55 cents. Your extra cheese is 60 cents per taco. Again, Insane. Is this normal or is the management at this location trying to pad profits...
Read moreThe following problem / my experience appears common when reading other reviews:
The store closes at 1 AM. I attempted to order at 12:26 AM through the drive-through and was told that they would not be taking any additional orders. Ironically, the car directly in front of me was able to order tacos and I distinctly heard the drive-through person say that they would only be able to make tacos. I find it hard to believe that Taco Bell has suddenly run out of tacos when I was the only other car in line and that the car ahead of me grabbed the last taco. This is a classic example of a fast food restaurant that just does not have their act together. I’m not looking for premier service, after all, this is Taco Bell. But if you say you’re going to close at one, close at one. And when there are only two cars in line, it’s impolite to let the car directly in front of you order but when you try to order the exact same item that you are told that they are not accommodating this.
This experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth even for Taco Bell. (Let’s all be honest, the moment we finish eating this food, we are always disgusted with ourselves anyway.) Fortunately, Whataburger is across the street and is actually open when they say they’re open. For a late night service, I recommend this...
