Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

FIRST OF ALL YOU ARE ONLY GETING 4 STARS BECAUSE THE GUY MANAGER WAS OKAY IN MY BOOK, IF IT WASNT FOR HIM YOUD HAVE 1 STAR!!!!!!

This place is disgusting! Im not talking about the food. I am talking about the staff. This will be the last time i come to this location. I came here on Saturday around 6 7pm there was a girl employee wearing a blue stripe shirt thrown on the cart where you make the chicken, so distgusting.. she was also falling on the floor. She looked like she was on some sort of medication. The girl couldnt even stand up straight. I cant believe you have people like that working here. She was all over the place. This is not the first time ive seen this girl like this, everytime i come here she is always falling asleep taking peoples orders and while packing the food. Then there was a male employee in drive thru who started arguing with another male employee in a stripe shirt. Im guessing he was a manager because he started telling the guy in drive thru what to do and well the employee in drive thru didnt want to do it. I just think its very disrespectful for the employees to act this way towards the managers. I asked the manager why is she still working here because as i said before she is ALWAYS like this. And he replied " im wondering the same thing ma'am, if it were up to me i would have fired her a long time ago". He really took care of my order, the manager was a really nice guy. Its such a shame you people have your customers looking at this type of stuff, very unprofessional. Whoever the girl employee in the stripe shirt is, she gets a very low rating from me. I had to put one star but if I had something below that, that is the rate I would give the service. I ordered a 16 PIECES and I only got 8 so I went back to go get my chicken and I got the question where are the other pieces🤯. That I should have brought the 8 pieces I got back. 🤔1. 16 pieces don’t fit in the box 2. Are you going to give me fresh pieces because I didn’t pay for cold chicken. 3. Get your orders right if you don’t want anyone going back. 4. Whomever is the manager needs to teach these employees how to speak with customers. I respect hard working employees and I believe that anyone working in fast food has the hardest but being treated as you have given me the chicken, no I PAID🤑! 🤓Educate them because service like this will close down businesses. So you’re just moving yourself out a job. Without customers you won’t have a job. If you don’t enjoy your job find something that you do enjoy it’s not the customers fault you have to work at Churches Fried Chicken ! I enjoy good service...

For some reason the food just does not taste the same. I hadn't had chicken there in a while, and I ordered some chicken tenders with white gravy, mashed potato and gravy and biscuit. The biscuits are always good. They just charge so much for more than one. But I guess they have to.

The chicken tasted terrible. It had like no flavor. It almost tasted like plastic or, something that wasn't real. I can't explain it. It just did not taste like chicken, like homemade fried chicken. It used to taste that way back in the day but it's just not the same. I'm not sure why. I'm not sure what I'm tasting in it but I can't eat that ever again. It was like that the last time I got it a few months back.

The mashed potatoes were not the same either. I don't know how to say it or explain it. They just didn't taste good like they used to. Just all tasted kind of bland. So I guess I'm not going there again. It's too bad they used to make really good...
