Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

Not my best experience at Church's. I requested a 24-piece tender strip meal and the gentleman over the speakerphone said that they didn't have enough tender strips and that it would be a while. So I asked if they had enough for the 15 piece tenderstrip meal and he said no they still didn't have enough. My surprise was that it was 12:00 and they didn't have tender strips ready for a family meal during summer time. I asked for an extra brown gravy to be added to the order and it was forgotten. Biscuits and two family sides came with the order, but the biscuits were dry and hard. Usually, with this meal, we get 4 white gravy's but we were only given 2 small gravy bowls. I'm not sure if they were trying to skimp on the gravy but when you have a rush hour you prepare with fresh products. It just does not calculate: 2 small gravy's for 24 tender strips?? There were clumps in the white gravy as if they hurried to make it and then of course we bit into a couple of those flour clumps. The tender strips were not at all impressive. Half of them seemed old and then we also had 2 in pieces of chicken that were counted as tender strips. In reality, I counted 21 tender strips so we were shorted 3 tender strips (not to mention that three of those 21 tender strips were basically chicken nuggets). The customer service was okay, but not very attentive as the brown gravy and 3 tenders were missing from our meal. Bad experience for tenders and biscuits at this Church's. Won't...

Went to go eat and it was a disaster first off I ordered their special of the shrimp with french fries and after receiving my order and noticed there was no French press on the plate they cashier told me that it doesn't come with french fries so I went outside and took a picture of the special they had in the display window and then he asked me for my receipt to see if he charged me correctly because evidently there's a $4.99 without fries and a $5.99 with fries I showed him my receipt and I showed him what he charged me. And I saw the manager standing right behind him and I asked to speak to him and when he came up to me I told him what had happened and that the cashier's been very rude to me and he was like okay whatever I'll get you your fries and then on top of that there's no utensils in the entire restaurant and they were no napkins either the cashier cut off portions of the large brown paper towel like what they use in the restrooms and said this is only napkins we have so then I proceeded to take my bundle of brown paper towels and trying to figure out how I was going to feed my grandson mashed potatoes with no Fork no spoon not even a knife never going back to this place again and on top of that at the bottom of the receipt they have a link so you can leave a comment if you have any problems which I did as of this date they have not contacted...

Went through the drive through at 6:28 PM.The gentleman who attended us at the drive thru window. Had the most great personality and very friendly. Ordered chicken strip meal, which was a spicy meal set with poppers and biscuits with was supposedly a family fry which was not a family fry was a large fry. Food was very cold, Mac and cheese was the most Edible item in the entire meal. Was not given a receipt at the time of purchase through the window when I came home since I didn't feel no heat at bottom of box, i decided to use a thermometer. Internal thermometer for fried chicken, which we're only chicken strips measured at 140° actual internal. In accordance to any Temperature for chicken is supposed to be 165° and above. Sadly enough If the food was better I had no problem with the service. I would come back. Churches is one of my families. Favorite place over any other chicken place in San Antonio. However, the quality of the food and the temperature isn't that good enough to return here.I hope you're store manager takes interest of their customers. This can be very dangerous to have an internal chicken temperature of less than 165° most people not to mention can be affected with salmanila. After a number of times to reach this location the phone was never once answered and continue to ring. All I can hope for is this will not happening...
