I waited to write this review because I was unsure how to articulate my experience. During Burger Week, I tried to visit as many places as possible since I love a good burger. I decided to try Cover 3 because it was nearby while I was working that week. I ordered takeout and hoped to enjoy a nice burger for lunch.
Unfortunately, the picture, taste, and overall appearance of the burger when I received it did not meet my expectations. Some ingredients were missing, and it looked rushed in its preparation. I rated the atmosphere a 4 because when I picked it up, I found the ambience to be quite nice, with a good vibe and ample seating available (although it was empty).
To address my concerns, I called and spoke with a gentleman named Jason, who claimed he was in charge and could assist me. However, he sounded unsure of what he was talking about and seemed to slur his words when responding to my questions. He offered to rectify the issue, but I felt that the damage had already been done, especially since that week was the only time for the burger specials. Perhaps if I had dined in, the problem could have been addressed immediately, but returning wasn’t an option for me.
I hope this was an isolated incident and not the norm. I expected more professionalism, concern, and understanding instead of incoherent conversation and uncertainty from someone in a...
Read moreI've had migraines this week so I was concerned about the noise level - but it was fine. I had posted a question about it and the owner replied promptly. I read other reviews that had great customer service and I was impressed with the quick response. It wasn't quiet but it was easy to have a table conversation. There were several loud tables - but we enjoyed their contagious laughter. Service was average. We got the calamari appetizer, which was mixed with fried artichokes and served with arugula and tomato salad... We loved it and would order again. It was a nice portion for two, but with the salad part, it's less sharable for a group probably... Or maybe just awkward sharing. We also had the brick chicken and macaroni. It tasted fresh, and was very moist and delicious. The Mac had too much red pepper flakes for me, but was very filling and rich. I'd order again without the heat. And maybe a side veggie to break up the richness. Although we we're full, we decided a slice of key lime pie would cut the heat. Besides, all desserts are made in house, so you don't need another reason. It was great. We brought most home and I plan to have it for breakfast, but I'm afraid I'll have to share with everyone! Overall, we had a nice time and meal. I'd go back. I don't give out 5* unless it's fantastic and my new favorite place and I crave...
Read moreThis was my second visit to this Cover3. And by far the worst I’ve ever had at any of the locations. We visited today Sunday 9/2/2018 at 630PM. In the half of the dining room we were sitting there was 3 tables occupied. A very slow Sunday. Starting off horrible with a nonexistent waitress. Or waiter. We couldn’t tell they kept switching and switching. I ordered the beef tenderloin sliders. I watched them sit in the ready window for 10 minutes before they got to our table. They arrived barely warm. I still ate them because they looked and tasted pretty good. Took over 10 minutes to get my water refilled multiple times, When our waiter/waitress would handle the table directly next to us. Tried ordering dessert but took over 15 minutes to get that order in. Because of again the nonexistent waiter/waitress. After the dessert arrived. I received a corner piece that was hard as a rock. I barely ate half of it. Now it comes time to pay. I hand in a gift card with $20 dollars on it and some cash. My change comes back and I’m short $30 dollars. $30! I guess my waiter thought he deserved that good of a tip. I went back up to discuss this with the waitress that had helped out table. She said the waiter miscounted three times in front of her after she told him. Now that seems a bit off. Nevertheless I got my correct change. And don’t plan...
