the first time i came here i had no issues w service or food. i was excited to bring my parents this time. the second time, i was sad to not have the same experience. the first thing i notice when i pull up is that it’s not busy. not an issue at all, so i expected fast service. we get sat immediately because like i said, it was slow. but our server, adam, took way too long to greet us. i probably read over the whole menu 5 times before he got to us, and i saw him attend to tables right next to us so he had to have seen us. the host even came up to us and asked if we were greeted yet. i’m a server myself so when i go out to eat i know the standard of service. i can understand if he was busy, but a quick “i’ll be w yall in a moment” goes a long way. he finally greets our table and just seemed like he was being short with us. we order apps and food. i get the beef tenderloin sliders and they were disgusting. i have never once sent food back but this time i just had to. white castle sliders were better than this. and the price point was insane for the quality of those sliders. the manager or someone in charge came by and just asked if i wanted something else and took the food off the ticket so that’s a pro i guess. definitely won’t be back.

Update: Came by for their restaurant week special and remembered why we like this place so much. I had the chicken gumbo to start, which was basically shredded chicken in gravy on top of a bed of rice and ohhhmahhgaww 🤤😏 it made me feel things. For the entree I had meatloaf and my wife had a pork chop. Both were tender and beautifully cooked. The pork chop may have had too much sauce but we still ate it all. Dessert was banana pudding which was exquisite 👌 Will be back soon! Original: I've always thought this place was more upscale from the outside. It's actually a nice casual eatery/bar. The food is delicious and the service is great. Everything is fairly priced and you don't have to break the bank. We started with The Triple, which is 3 different dips (guac, queso, and salsa) served with chips. I had the chicken mac and cheese. Not your traditional mac n cheese. Had a little spice while the chicken balanced it out with a lime seasoning. Others in the group ordered a flank steak and cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their food and agreed with the above rating. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a casual lunch/dinner away from the commercial restaurant experiences.

So, this place is usually pretty decent. I can't call them "great" by any means, but they're consistently "pretty good." We've eaten there several times, with the most recent time being a Sunday brunch. I think the best word to describe Cover 3 is "overpriced." We ordered the Eggs Tournedos, the Green Chile Beef Breakfast Enchiladas, and the Stuffed Brioche French Toast. The beef tenderloin on the Eggs Tournedos was overcooked and a bit tough, while the Hollandaise sauce was the only source of flavor on the plate. The breakfast enchiladas were actually pretty good, though the beef was again a bit overcooked. As far as the stuffed french toast....well, we took about 2-3 bites and left the rest. It was soggy, bland, and wayyyy too sweet. It tasted like something you would get at a county fair. Which, don't get me wrong...I like fair food....just not at a sit-down restaurant like Cover 3. Our previous visits were about the same: not bad, but didn't quite hit the mark. TL;DR - Cover 3 isn't bad, but is a bit overpriced for what you get in terms of quality.

I waited to write this review because I was unsure how to articulate my experience. During Burger Week, I tried to visit as many places as possible since I love a good burger. I decided to try Cover 3 because it was nearby while I was working that week. I ordered takeout and hoped to enjoy a nice burger for lunch.

Unfortunately, the picture, taste, and overall appearance of the burger when I received it did not meet my expectations. Some ingredients were missing, and it looked rushed in its preparation. I rated the atmosphere a 4 because when I picked it up, I found the ambience to be quite nice, with a good vibe and ample seating available (although it was empty).

To address my concerns, I called and spoke with a gentleman named Jason, who claimed he was in charge and could assist me. However, he sounded unsure of what he was talking about and seemed to slur his words when responding to my questions. He offered to rectify the issue, but I felt that the damage had already been done, especially since that week was the only time for the burger specials. Perhaps if I had dined in, the problem could have been addressed immediately, but returning wasn’t an option for me.

I hope this was an isolated incident and not the norm. I expected more professionalism, concern, and understanding instead of incoherent conversation and uncertainty from someone in a...

I've had migraines this week so I was concerned about the noise level - but it was fine. I had posted a question about it and the owner replied promptly. I read other reviews that had great customer service and I was impressed with the quick response. It wasn't quiet but it was easy to have a table conversation. There were several loud tables - but we enjoyed their contagious laughter. Service was average. We got the calamari appetizer, which was mixed with fried artichokes and served with arugula and tomato salad... We loved it and would order again. It was a nice portion for two, but with the salad part, it's less sharable for a group probably... Or maybe just awkward sharing. We also had the brick chicken and macaroni. It tasted fresh, and was very moist and delicious. The Mac had too much red pepper flakes for me, but was very filling and rich. I'd order again without the heat. And maybe a side veggie to break up the richness. Although we we're full, we decided a slice of key lime pie would cut the heat. Besides, all desserts are made in house, so you don't need another reason. It was great. We brought most home and I plan to have it for breakfast, but I'm afraid I'll have to share with everyone! Overall, we had a nice time and meal. I'd go back. I don't give out 5* unless it's fantastic and my new favorite place and I crave...

This was my second visit to this Cover3. And by far the worst I’ve ever had at any of the locations. We visited today Sunday 9/2/2018 at 630PM. In the half of the dining room we were sitting there was 3 tables occupied. A very slow Sunday. Starting off horrible with a nonexistent waitress. Or waiter. We couldn’t tell they kept switching and switching. I ordered the beef tenderloin sliders. I watched them sit in the ready window for 10 minutes before they got to our table. They arrived barely warm. I still ate them because they looked and tasted pretty good. Took over 10 minutes to get my water refilled multiple times, When our waiter/waitress would handle the table directly next to us. Tried ordering dessert but took over 15 minutes to get that order in. Because of again the nonexistent waiter/waitress. After the dessert arrived. I received a corner piece that was hard as a rock. I barely ate half of it. Now it comes time to pay. I hand in a gift card with $20 dollars on it and some cash. My change comes back and I’m short $30 dollars. $30! I guess my waiter thought he deserved that good of a tip. I went back up to discuss this with the waitress that had helped out table. She said the waiter miscounted three times in front of her after she told him. Now that seems a bit off. Nevertheless I got my correct change. And don’t plan...
