This would be a zero star review.
We ordered dinner through Door Dash from Fajita Express last night, as we have done many times with no issue. After our food was dropped off, we realized it was missing 2 out of the 3 orders of chips and queso. I call the store, and am basically informed I can either pick up the items (which I was already on my way to do) or they can give me a credit for the next time I order. Since I tend to order from Door Dash, a credit wouldn't really work for me.
The lady on the phone was rude and condescending, which is odd considering this was their mistake. I wasn't upset about it, because these things happen, until she said "we can just give you back your 3 dollars is that's what this is about" in a snarky tone. It's not about the money. If it were, I wouldn't have paid more in delivery fees and tip than these items were worth. It's about the fact that I'm now having to go pick up items I paid to have delivered and receiving attitude about it when I call to inform you of the mistake. I ordered delivery so I could eat with my family, which I now either don't get to do or we all get to eat ice cold food when I return from picking up the rest of our order.
I really went from annoyed at the situation, and irritated at the response from the restaurant, to downright livid when I pull into the parking lot and see their delivery vehicle. I had no idea they even delivered, but why was that not the simple solution to THEIR mistake? You had the ability to say "we're sorry, we will run these items right to you" but instead you cop an attitude with your customers and turn a small, albeit annoying, experience into a bad one.
Good thing is there is no shortage of somewhat mediocre Mexican food in SA. Judging by the rest of the reviews, this is not an uncommon type...
Read moreI'll give them a 4 star. This passed Saturday I went and bought tacos there at Fajita Express & it was so good. I drove from MEDINA RD BY THE BASE on 410 just to go buy their tacos this morning, but when my Son opened it up 2 of his Tacos barely had beans in it. It kinda looks like it had a little more than what it looks, but it wasn't. It was just smeared like if you were putting peanut butter on a toasted bread, but just the middle had it like that. I understand they are busy & I did order 6 bean & cheese tacos 3 Fajitas 2 with guacamole & 1 with out plus 3 Carne Guisada Tacos with cheese 1 large Lemonade 1 large tea. But, then again I am a customer as well. So, the cook should of taken a little more time & done right the 1st time & this wouldn't had happened. But, I do give the cook credit for good food. Even though it was a little bit of beans & more tortillas. Luckily I had made papas con chorizo, onions, hot raw peppers with diced tomatoes. Cooked it all together to eat breakfast, but I didn't have enough masa to make my own tortillas & my kids wanted to eat already. But, it worked out for my Son. Turned out he like the food I had made. he added to the beans he barely had in the tortillas. I was not about to go back way over there for bean & cheese no matter how good the food is. Lets just put it this way. I had 1/2 a tank when I left my home. When I drove back I was under 1/2. But, I talked to the lady & she was real nice & understandable. So, thank you R*. Read moreI ordered through Uber Eats but Fajita Express used their own delivery driver. At 9:15 pm I got a notification that they got my order. Estimate delivery time was 9:55-10:15pm. At approximately 10pm the notification said it was on the way. I live less than 2 miles from the restaurant. At 10:25 I called the restaurant because I hadn't received any order yet. I was told that they just got the order & that the restaurant closes at 11pm. They asked if I still wanted the order & I said yes. I asked why I got notifications that they got my order at 9:15 & it said it was on the way at 10 & they couldn't answer the question. I finally got my order at 10:45pm & it wasn't hot like it had just been made & the compartment that the rice was supposed to be in was empty & the rice was all over the top of the enchiladas. Since they used their own driver I wasn't able to take the tip away so I had to tip them for barely warm food that took an hour and a half to get. I have had good experience with ordering through Uber Eats with them on several occasions before but now that I know that they can use their own delivery drivers instead of Uber Eats I may not order from here again.
