This place is not that great but not so bad. While I was there I didn't see anyone helping customers out on the floor & when I went looking for help could not find any assistance I had to go up to the register to ask if they could assist me. Someone was looking at clothes on a rather long heavy looking hanging rack that just fell to the floor spontaneously with all the clothes hanging on them. There also aren't any shopping carts, plastic baskets HEB has or shopping bags like Claire's to carry/push around while you do your shopping. When I finally found an attendant to ask if they had anything for me to put my potential purchases in, they brought me a rather large plastic box that he called a bin & he was carrying it with two hands, one could clearly see that I am disabled, that only had use of only one arm & hand to carry stuff. I was then brought that bin/box that the associate said they had & they proceeded to tell me that I could put my name on it & they hold your items until you decide to make your purchase. It wasn't clear at first to me but I then realized what they meant. I guess I freaked ou a bit as I had never seen that before, I had my arm full of items already, as much I could carry. When the associate brought the medium sized bin/box they stood there holding it as if they were waiting for me to take it from them when I only had use of my one arm it was obvious. I said "well I can't carry that as you can see" then they said they could take the items & put the things in it & hold it for me, they asked for my name to put on the bin. Needless to say that I have the rating that I did as some of their stuff is well over priced & others are at what a consignment store should be selling it as. Most stuff the stuff is name brand selling almost as if it was new. other items are priced at what they should be but the items weren't so great looking like clothes from goidwill. The store is pretty clean & in order. The other thing is there's no sign outside the store that says you should bring your own bag with you as they don't supply one for you after you buy items from their store. I purchased over $100 worth of stuff & it was quite a bit that I had, the associate who rang me up saw that I was disabled & asked if I needed help taking my stuff to my car. I thought to myself "wow this is crazy", so I said to the associate that it would've been helpful if they had a sign on the window or door that says they do not supply bags for your purchases. She said "oh yes I guess so." Had I seen that I probably would've opted to come another day when I had someone with me or brought my own bag. There were a couple other things that weren't quite right. But it's too long to express. It is better than Goodwill. They do greet you when you walk in however. I will try another time to see what I can find &...
Read moreAttempted to sell some items in store, the associate told me it would be 45 min - 1hr wait and that I would get a text message when it was ready. I decided to walk around while I waited. It looked pretty busy so I understood it would take awhile. 2 1/2 hrs later I went to check at the front…they had my items sitting in the back and said they weren’t going to take anything, did not tell me why nor explain. I can understand if they didn’t want to take anything ( nothing was in bad shape or “out of style”), but they could have at least called to tell me instead of wasting my time. The girl said they “probably” yelled my name out. I don’t believe they did because I was walking around and never heard them yell any names out. Oh and I had 2 bags, one bag had brand new adidas and Nike shoes along with some new leggings. The girl did not give me that bag. I had to ask for it which I thought was a little shady. I’ve gone to the Huebner location with no issues prior. I will not return to the Alamo Ranch one. Only one associate was nice which was a tall gentleman, he was actually helpful and the reason why I will...
Read moreI agree with Ms. Perez! Horrible customer service all around. One of the associates admitted that she ripped my hamper and said she was going to call her boss(Owner Brenda) about what they can do for me. I waited over 20 minutes for brenda and As soon as she arrived one of the employees told her I was waiting for her and she looked at me and right away looked away and told her employee “I’ll be with her right now” and walked away. She asked me to see the hamper and said she could sow it for me or offer me $5.00. I showed her a picture of the original price of $16.48 from Walmart and she started begging me to let her sow it. She said she wasn’t going to replace it even after her associate admitted to damaging it. At the end I told her to forget it, and as I started walking towards the drivers side of my vehicle she was following me till I closed my door screaming “please mam let me sow it!” Save your...
