UPDATE 10/21/23: I come here every 2 weeks or so to see if anything improves, given feedback to management, etc. It somehow continues to get worse.
Your order will rarely if ever come together, so you can have part of your party sitting waiting and food being cold, or you eat alone.
You'll wait 45 minutes for food even if there is 2 people in the entire place eating.
The temp is set at 68 degrees, so when you eventually DO get your food, it'll be cold before you get halfway through.
People who ordered 5-6 places AFTER you will get food before you, with parties of 8, even if you order alone.
Coffee? You get one choice, because all the other carafes are empty regardless of when you come in. Ask for one to be refilled? "We'll get on that" and watch as no one comes to refill it the entire 1.5 hours you wait for food.
I don't know if this is indicative of the chain in general, or if this location is just awful.
I have given this place more than enough chances in the last 6-8 months. Today, the manager apologized with a gift card. I don't know if I want to come back. PERHAPS I will give it a try again in 6 months when they've had time to fix whatever caused these issues.
ORIGINAL: I will say the wait is excruciating if you get here between 9am and 12pm. 45 min in line to order, one cashier, and the wait is made worse because the menus are at the front of the line only, maybe put some near the rear entrance door where the line is backed up to so people are READY to order. Instead, I constantly saw people get up to the front and spend 5-10 min deciding AT THE REGISTER what to order.
Maybe add another cashier? You got two registers....
Oh and after you order, good luck finding seats, unless someone in your party is the scout and jumps on a table while you wait in line. Don't come with more than 4 people, because there is exactly 3 tables that can seat more than that.
Food is decent, but not worth 1.5 hours to order to food...
Read moreAt first, I was on the fence on when I would try this place. I had actually went to this place one morning with my niece. There was a decent line and after skimming through the menu while in line, I decided to get something quick and head home. After reading the reviews before coming this particular morning, I was still on the fence. The not so stellar reviews talked about the chicken entrees. We did not have any of the chicken entrees. Some said the time it took for the food to come out was long. It was moderate and there was only a handful of people at the restaurant on a summer Tuesday morning. My husband and I sipped coffee and juice with some conversation while we waited. The coffee was good. I had the Maple vanilla latte. You put your own sugar in it which I liked as I like to regulate the amount. The fresh squeezed orange juice has no added sugar but didn't need it. Nice and tart as well. Maple Sausage meatballs - They are sweet and a nice appetizer type serving to try. Potatoes O Ryan - potatoes with veggies, ham, cheese and easy eggs. After reading other reviews, (where some stated they were dry) I opted for these potatoes as I felt putting cheese and eggs would give them a little push. Glad to say, the dish was really good. Cowboy - Big call out on the white gravy. Black pepper is the main ingredient and you WILL taste it. If you like pepper this will be delicious. We thought it was great. The chicken fried steak had great flavor and was crispy. The bacon and cheese compliments the overall sandwich. My husband doesn't usually like biscuits but couldn't help himself and ate them. They are good. Sweet Grace - Strawberry and chocolate waffles were delicious! Didn't need the syrup but definitely tried some as well. This spot is right down the street from me. Would definitely get the sandwich and potatoes again, half each plate and share with my husband and have more...
Read moreWorst experience of my life! If you feel like being attended to with a rude staff, this is your place. Food is mediocre, overpriced, and no southern comfort hospitality. My wife was waiting for her latte the whole time we were there. We did ask several times if it was ready, by this time we finished our meal. I went back and asked for a refund since we no longer needed the latte. They had me waiting for several minutes. I was ready to leave so i went around asking for the manager who was acting busy to avoid me. (He had made eye contact multiple times) I told him I wanted my money back but said he couldn't since he is bagging orders. Again, I asked for a refund and asked if he could get one of the employees who were just standing there so he could finally process a refund. I kept getting the run around, and at this point, he was frustrated. I saw the girls standing there rolling their eyes. He finally went to the register and asked again what I needed. All Im asking for is a refund for the latte that I never got and waited for over 1.5 hours. The manager had the audacity to tell me well, "Your attitude is why you waited and never got your latte!!!" Unbelievable and childish!!I I never gave attitude. If anything, i was cool as a cucumber... keep in mind there was a long line of people hearing this... I said, "What attitude, All I'm asking for is my money back!" After it all, breakfast was ruined, wife not happy, stomach flipped, and the amount of disrespect coming from this staff is unacceptable. The manager will keep ur money hostage and waste ur time. Hopefully, no one has to go through the same as we did. I'm never...
