Fatburger — Restaurant in San Antonio

First of all, FATBURGER had been an iconic staple in my life since 10 years old trying it for the first time after my dad’s fire engine company saved it from burning down in 92. They took care of all the firefighters and their families when the smoke cleared, great tasting, but being a part of our community and valuing others was the one thing that stood out, and I remembered forever.

Fast forward to 43 years old, living in Texas, and now having one within cruising distance, the nostalgia is definitely still there. Yliana and Sophie are always taking care of me when I come in now, always as energetic as before. The food is just as I remembered, perhaps even better now. The crew echoing the orders as they are placed is just another part of the nostalgia, to the uninitiated it might feel different, for those who remember this brand from its roots, it’s the most fatburger thing you can expect🤌🏼

Went in for lunch, food was delicious. However there was lack of urgency. Mind you I was on lunch. Coming from someone who was apart of a team that opened a fatburger and fat wings location. Yall need to step up your ticket time because we had a bigger menu and our ticket time for meals were 9-11 minutes. I brought it to the leads attention and she kind of just brushed me off. Might be a brand new location but super clean, the team gives a nice shout upon coming inside. The menu is nice, simple, and they offer a gluten free bun, and vegan options! I got the turkey burger and onion rings, the patty was perfectly seasoned, LARGE, with a nice sweet relish, and the onion rings tasted fresh and home made.
