Always seem to "run out" of food. Menu board is confusing and incomplete. You have to ask for prices and sizes and the staff acts like you are asking them to go out of their way for info. Their recipe for Cole slaw is always different. You never know what you are going to get. Potato salad always tastes ....well, blah. Beans were pasty and over salted. Oh, and I'll never forget the time I got there big bucket of tea. When I got home I went to pour some tea from the bucket. A big blob of something poured out of the bucket. It was a gigantic slime ball. I should have known not accept the tea because I saw them tipping the gigantic tea canister to pour out the last of the tea from the bottom of it. My best guess? My best guess is that they have never cleaned out that tea container. They just kept making tea on top of old tea. When I took the bucket back to Bill Millers and showed it to the manager at the time, he could not believe what he saw. But he also refused to take responsibility. He said, "we make fresh tea all the time". But what he didn't say is that they clean and wash out the canister before they make fresh tea all the time. Sorry, I'm just not real impressed in a good way.

Bill Miller's still has not lived up to my expectations. This is the third time they have messed up a simple order. At 3:00 this afternoon, I ordered the small family meal, to-go. I was already at the party with my bag of food and part of the order was missing. Quite a few people were disappointed. And I was left holding the bag! (Yuk yuk!) I called and spoke to the manager, Nicolas Valle, he didn't seem to care much. He didn't offer to make it good and he didn't offer any kind of compensation for my disappointment as well as the disappointment of my family members.
I don't know what the big deal is about Bill Miller's but their record for me ...... it's three strikes you're out.

Update update update (2 weeks after last review)
Someone in corporate must have seen my review. I was given an opportunity to voice my concerns with the area manager. Bill Miller's assured me that I could always request a manager review of my order. That means the manager can literally go through my packaged order and make sure everything is the way I requested it. I did just that when I returned to Bill Millers Aug 5. Not only was the food exactly what I ordered but the quality and flavors were right on. Now I only hope that quality control continues with the new manager at the Bitters location. Thank you for addressing my concerns.
I will forgive all the past flubs but I cannot forget them. So for that reason I will give Bill Miller's three and a half stars. Not quite four or five..... yet. It remains to be seen if quality is going to be constant at random times not just when the manager checks your order.
Update 7/2/20 Never get what you order. But that's okay I don't want to be a "Karen" about it. Just make sure you ask the manager to check your order. (Which I forgot to this time). In this particular case I requested The rancher plate, two meats, coleslaw and of course the sides of the onions and pickles and the roll. And the barbecue sauce on the side. This is what I got. Decent food, generally not too long of a drive thru wait (but it can get lengthy depending on the time of day you order). This particular location gets 3 stars due to numerous orders not being Quality Checked and food missing. Basically to pay what we pay for the food and to have to check every order every time... definitely not fun but I do it because hey - my friends/family love Bill Millers. BUT that being said there have been numerous orders with a full meal missing - an adults meal or a kids Buckaroo Meal. We still return to this location as it is the closest to our home... but we definitely pull over and go bag by bag. I have emailed and called to let this particular Bill Millers management know of this issue. I basically got the 'gee I'm sorry to hear that - we will do better' no real empathy in the voice (I've talked to both a male and female who have said they are the Manager or person in charge at the time the issue has cropped up. Don't expect a free drink or pie offer - LOL. The best you're going to get for your time, money and trouble is the bland 'I'm sorry' and giving you the missing food or offer of a refund for the item missed. I get the Pandemic has impacted businesses, etc but I tend to think this is an issue for this specific Bill Millers - we generally had great service and very few issues with our old location on Thousand Oaks. Yes I'll still support Bill Millers but not as enthusiastically as we had done in the past. And we definitely make sure to check our orders and keep our receipts.
This location does offer drive thru and curbside. I do not believe they offer in restaurant seating at this time due to the Pandemic. Masks are required to enter. This has been the fourth time I've gone to this location specifically where they literally recount my order at the window and still forget multiple items. Ordered extra gravy, extra BBQ sauce, extra fries and none of the add-ons were included. Again. I've said it before and I'm saying it one last time, I am NEVER coming back to this location. I've made these reviews with the hopes that someone would do something about the performance and accuracy of the employees here. I'm not trying to get free food or money back, I literally am asking for the stuff I ordered. I know it's partially my fault for knowing the lack of accuracy the employees at this location have and still not checking to see if my order was correct, but I don't have to at any other location.
