SECOND EDIT: Still have not been contacted by anyone from this establishment. I filled out the form as requested and I haven’t got a single call or email.
EDIT: Still have not been refunded, and I already submitted the contact form the day I submitted this review, for the associate who has left the comment on my review.
Placed an order yesterday to have food delivered today at 5:15pm. 5:00pm rolls around and we get a notification from DoorDash (the delivery service Hooters is using) that the order has been cancelled. Got a notification from Hooters that it was delivered. Look on the front porch, and no food.
Call the store to make an inquiry on this... 17 minutes of holding and three people later, I get a lady who places me on mute in the middle of my question. She had said they don’t have control of the notifications and that DoorDash people “just push a bunch of buttons.” I thought I was getting a manager but I doubt a manager would have said that.
Three people later I’m met with someone else who again may not have been a manager, and again says they have no control of the site. She said they’re behind and will probably deliver in an hour. I ask her how can I know if it shows cancelled and delivered (the same question that prompted the last lady to place me on mute without warning). No real response other than again they can’t control the website.
I ask her for a refund because I’m getting nowhere. Her recommendation was to cancel the order through DoorDash. I tell her I can’t because it’s been made through Hooters. She recommends cancelling through Hooters. I told her the order shows as delivered on the Hooters site so I can’t and again she says that they can’t control the website. She said she would tell the manager tonight when they close that I want a refund 😒 I asked for her name and the manager’s name and she spouts off like 7 names. 🤦♀️ I’ve been charged, refunded, and charged again. I still have no idea what is actually going to happen.
This was NOT the experience I expected from Hooters, is not what we normally experience when we order from them, and we will probably not order from them again. This place has gone...
Read moreIf I had to pick one word to describe Hooters on 151 it would be PATHETIC! The best thing that came from todays lunch is that our waitress didn't charge us for the two sodas. It took over 5 minutes for a waitress to come up and greet us and get our drink order. We had multiple waitresses pass us by and not one even checked to see if we had been helped. After we ordered 1 water and 2 sodas it took more than 5 minutes to get our drinks she even came back to ask what our drinks were again. (we got there at 12 and the place wasn't even busy) When we finally got our drinks we placed our order asking for fried pickles as an appetizer. That again didn't even come out until we finally got our waitresses attention to find out where they were. (at this time we had been there for almost an hour) After waiting for some time after that we got our very crispy/burnt pickles. A little after 1:00 we grabbed our waitresses attention asking if she knew how much longer the food would take. As we waited every table in our view was trying to look for or get the waitresses attention so I knew I wasn't just me being a rude customer. When our food finally came out that was the last we saw of our waitress. I ordered chicken tenders and they were burnt and cold. At this point I was so annoyed I didn't even ask for a manager. Seeing that Hooters just opened you would expect for there to be some kinks to be worked on but this was just poor from services to food. As a manager of a new place you would think they would be on the floor walking around to make sure their staff does not need help (and they do) and check to see if the customers are happy (because they are not). I was a server for years I understand that there are many issues that could reflect on bad services but as a waitress you should be attentive to your tables so that customers may understand the issues that may or not be...
Read moreHad the worst experience on Sunday the 11th. Husband and I walked in at approximately 12:20pm. When we walked in there was already another party waiting to be seated, the host sees us and walks away, we stand there waiting for a good 5 minutes until someone from the wait staff sees us and asks if we had been helped. Host finally comes back takes our name down without telling us that the kitchen is backed up or even giving us a wait time. We wait for another good 15 minutes until we see a spot at the bar open up. We sit at the bar to grab a drink, the bartender looks at us up and down, not even a proper hello, and let’s us know we can’t order food (mind you customers beside us and at the entire bar top are eating). I tell her that’s okay we are waiting for a table and we can go ahead and just order a couple of beers. She looks at us and says she cannot help us and we needed to wait for our table. At this point I’m not even upset at how rude the bartender was I’m in disbelief that we weren’t even allowed to order two drinks while we had already waited nearly 25 minutes in a restaurant that didn’t even look like it was at full capacity (tons of empty tables). We go back to the host stand only to find that she had already crossed our name off as she was taking a party of 5 that had walked in after us to their table. She hadn’t even to look for us at the bar. After we saw another party leave (that had been waiting) we finally decided the terrible service was no longer worth the wait. We went down the street and were both reminded what good service feels like. As someone who spent several years in the service industry, Please train your bar staff and hosts to treat people with courtesy and act like they care about their jobs. Won’t be back and I’m bummed that I had to give 1 star because 0...
