Target — Local services in San Antonio

My daughter was trying to find a Flamingo shave gift set for her sister and couldn't find it at any of the Targets anywhere close to us, but it showed online that it was available at the Target on Marbach Road. So off I went to pick it up for her, but couldn't find it so I asked for some help. Cruz was working in personal care and even though he was busy, he dropped what he was doing to help me. He looked it up and discovered that there were no more on the floor and then I learned that their inventory doesn't update in real time, just to let the rest of you know. He then looked up which location might, and called that location to see if they could hold one for me and while he was on hold, another associate came by with a basket of returns and lo and behold, there was a gift set in there! He grabbed it quickly and handed it to me, and we both had a laugh. The true Christmas miracle here, though, was Cruz himself. What an awesome young man! That is true customer service and in the thick of the busiest week of the year. He could have just blown me off and said the same thing I hear from most sales associates, "Sorry, but if it's not on the floor...blah, blah blah..." I love coupons & using them at target. Well, just this last Saturday I went in and tried to use 2 Target coupons both for Speed stick and 2 manufacturer coupons for Speed stick as well. Targets coupon policy is that you can use a target coupon with a manufacturer coupon. They wouldn't allow me to use them this time though. The lady said she was the 'coupon manager' for Target. Apparently, even though Targets website let's you print 2 coupons for the same item, they print with the same barcode # so the ' coupon manager' said I couldn't use them because they were copied. Which they weren't, because like I stated earlier, Target allows 2 prints of the same item. Then she wouldn't let me use my manufacturer coupon because they said, "Available at Walmart". I tried explaining to her the difference between AVAILABLE at Walmart and REDEEMABLE at Walmart but she still refused the coupons. I was very disappointed because that was the very first time that has happened at any of the Targets I've been too. You can really see how hard working these employees are on the floor but management not so much. When I was shopping I over heard the managers I'm assuming nagging at this one employee next to me. They called for her and the poor girl had her hands full so she couldn't respond on time and not even a second later they called again and again and again. She was trying so hard to get alot of what she had done and when she finally answered they asked her to go do something else. What is the point in that?? Management needs to figure out another way to run things because I saw this poor girl run back and fourth between departments to get alot of merchandise on the floor for us customers while having to do other things. Do better management because y'all sound rediculous and come off extremely un professional. I know someone that works in corporate and I will definitely be letting them know about this situation.
