This was our first visit to First Watch! We had heard good things! Our journey began with a 40 minute wait. It was not bad considering the hostess told us it would be over an hour!

One thing we noticed while we were waiting was the amount of time it took to clear a table after the patrons were gone. Some tables stayed dirty more than 10 minutes. Then after they were finally cleared, they stayed empty more than 10 minutes. And there were a lot of people waiting to eat. The busboy also picked up clean coffee mugs by sticking his fingers inside the mug and holding more than one.

Once our table of 4 was seated with menus, it took our waiter Tre about 15 minutes to come greet us and take our drink order. We ordered water for the table, a Watermelon Wake-Up, Millionaire’s Bloody Mary and a Honey Crunch Iced Coffee. The Honey Crunch Iced Coffee we had read good things about, which is one reason we decided to try First Watch! My niece Haley loves her iced coffees. We also ordered the Bacon Cheddar Cornbread as an appetizer!!

After about 15 minutes a server brought the cornbread to the table. She was obviously very busy and rushing, because she dropped it on the corner, said, “Cornbread” and bolted off. We moved the cornbread to the center of the table. We had no plates to serve it on so we used the napkin wrapped around our silverware. It was very good cornbread served with creamy honey butter. My son’s girlfriend found a hair in her portion of cornbread.

After another 10-15 minutes, while people seated after us were getting their drinks, a server came by and I asked him to check on our drinks. Tre came by shortly later and was asked again about our drinks. I told him people seated after us received theirs and we ate our cornbread with no water. He mumbled some excuse and walked away.

Shortly after, another server brought our drinks, but only 3 water glasses. There were 4 of us. And another server came by with my BLT eggs Benedict, but no one else’s food. We sat for another 7 minutes before the other 3 plates of food arrived.

A server walked by and we asked for napkins, since we used ours as plates. We waited, no napkins. Tre came by to ask how things were, we asked for napkins, another server brought them out. Aside from taking our order and giving us the check, I’m not sure what Tre’s job was. He also had a bad attitude.

The food was good. We enjoyed the food. But the Honey Crunch iced coffee was not. It tasted like there was no coffee in it at all and it was just like watered down sugar.

I don’t recommend First Watch. The chaos is not...

First Watch Review: California Hash and Pineapple Express First Watch has carved out a niche for itself with its fresh, vibrant brunch offerings, and on this visit, I decided to put two of their popular items to the test: the SoCal breakfast Hash and the Pineapple Express juice. SoCal Breakfast Hash: This dish is known for its vibrant and flavorful combination of ingredients, reflecting a Southern California culinary influence. It features: Hardwood smoked bacon and grilled all-natural sliced chicken breast for protein. Seasoned black beans. House-pickled sweet peppers. Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. A base of seasoned potato hash. Topped with cage-free eggs, fresh avocado, house-made pico de gallo, Cotija cheese, scallions, and a drizzle of jalapeño crema. Served with warm wheat-corn tortillas. It's a hearty and well-rounded breakfast, offering a mix of savory, spicy, and fresh flavors. It is a good option for those that want a breakfast that has a southwestern flair. Depending on the location, and season, the vegetables used may vary slightly, but the overall experience is very good. If you are looking for a savory and filling breakfast, this is a great choice. Overall, a very good breakfast option. Pineapple Express: The Breakdown: This juice is a bright and refreshing blend, featuring pineapple as the star, likely mixed with other complementary fruits. It's clearly freshly squeezed, with a vibrant color and intense flavor. The Verdict: The Pineapple Express is a perfect pick-me-up. It's sweet, but not overly so, with a nice tang that keeps it from being cloying. It's a great accompaniment to any breakfast dish, and especially pairs well with the savory SoCal Hash. It is a very refreshing drink. Overall Impression: First Watch continues to impress with its commitment to fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. The SoCal Hash is a reliable and satisfying breakfast option, and the Pineapple Express is a delightful and refreshing beverage. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming, as is typical of most First Watch locations. In short, First watch provides a great...

I decided to do this review as a Uber Eats driver. I have not accepted deliveries from this place for months now, so most likely the problem I encountered was fixed. I do feel like the management has most like stayed the same. I had a Uber Eats order from here, and it was 2 drinks with food. The drinks were inside the bag, and sealed. Which means I cant open it to put it in the cup holder on my car. It ended up spilling on the way to the house. At first I thought it was potentially my fault for driving fast, and decided to return to get replacements. Once I arrived back I decided to take look inside the bag, and notice the cup holders were extremely thin. Which I realized it was poor packaging on their end. I explained the problem to them, and they gave me replacements. Then after accepting another order from then couple days later. I was told by an employee that she isn't supposed give me the order, because of the last incident. Then a lady (which I am assuming is the management) told her it's okay to give me the food. It felt like they were blaming me for the incident. When it was all due to poor packaging on their end. Mcdonalds puts their drinks in a bag, and their packaging is so good that the drinks never spill. Again the problem involving drinks is most likely solved by this point, but I feel management has stayed the same. So I thought I will give my review on what I felt was poor customer...

👍Very popular, taking over former Egg & I location. Presentation excellent (see photo). 👍 Presentation excellent. Dishes, tabletop & utensils clean. 👍 Eggs perfectly over easy. Still warm. 👍Tomato's and avacado fresh and ripe. Fair portions. 👎Grapefruit juice unreal. Asked server (Laura) before ordering. Someone in kitchen who said it was all juice. NOT GRAPEFRUIT. Sweetened, mostly Apple? Maybe 10% grapefruit. 👎Asked thrice for Splenda. Waitress said she didn't remember 1st request. Nor second. Third was the charm. 👎 No toast served. Waitress "assumed" I didn't want any because I didn't want meat?! 👍 Brought toast upon request. Mulligain thick sliced. Quite good. Dry as requested. 👎Potatoes bland, slightly undercooked. 👎Music to loud by at least 6db (4 x). Maybe appropriate for busier times. 👎Coffee creamer unreal, non-dairy. 'Faux' dairy? 👍Chalula hot sauce = great. 👉Men's restroom clean, aromatically intense but lacked attention to detailed cleaning. Scraps all about. 👍Coffee better than average. Columbian. Fair trade. 👉 Time of meal was 0730 on Saturday. Overpriced, especially with substitutions instead of meat. $15 for 2 eggs, ¼ avacado, 4 slices of tomato, toast & coffee. 👎 Overall cleanliness => 3 out of 5. Again, little attention to details. Place should have been imaculate. Tiny scraps or paper and food sprewn about floors, like cleaning crew was in a rush or simply just didn't care.

A friend and I brunches here this past week…& we were not disappointed! We started with a pitcher of their Blackberry Bramble Sangria, which definitely was tasty. She ordered their Floridian French Toast, while I went with The Works Omelette. I subbed breakfast potatoes for the side salad, per the recommendation of our waiter. Overall - everything was delicious. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her meal…and mine was equally yummy. My only gripe about the omelette would be that instead of cooking the ingredients IN the eggs, they cooked the eggs flat, laid the ingredients on top…& then folded the eggs over…so the ingredients were sandwiched in. Still delicious, just odd that they weren’t cooked into the eggs…which is how I’ve always had omelettes. The spot was nice, and the atmosphere was cheery. It was a bit small than I expected, and we were a bit crowded. The host and hostess were very nice…and so was our waiter. However - he did seem to rush us a bit - whether it was ordering or paying - he just always seemed to be a tad bit impatient. But - it was brunch time. So maybe he was just busy. Either way - I’ll definitely be back! Definitely a great experience!☺️

Seated right away and had a nice server who brought and left a carafe of coffee on the table - bonus points for that! Appreciate that they serve breakfast past 11 am. Ordered our usual, eggs, bacon potatoes English muffin and saw something “different” on the menu - million dollar bacon (bacon, with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple drizzle) so ordered a side of that to share as well. Eggs were nicely done, bacon on the plate was different than the side — much thinner and underdone, potato’s were good, well seasoned. English muffin was toasted nicely. The million dollar bacon was underwhelming. It was different bacon than we got with the meal, somewhat thicker and cooked more fully, but not worth the price. If you offer bacon as a premium stand-alone side it should really stand out in my opinion. This just seemed like a side of seasoned bacon with maple syrup poured over it. I think I would have added a star had they simply replaced the bacon that came with the meal with the side bacon (after removing all the extra fluff).
