My elderly parents went into this restaurant on their way to their doctor's appointment because my mom was craving Jack in the Box before her procedure. They have a routine when they travel long distances, where my mom goes and orders while my dad visits the restroom after being on the road. My dad notices the restroom as closed with a sign for customers only. He sees someone that works there and ask if he can get access to the restroom. She said that it was for paying customers only. He informed her that he is a paying customer and that his wife was ordering at the counter. She then proceeded to say that they had to pay for the order before they could unlock the door. I can tell you that in many years of working in the restaurant industry I have never heard of an employee denying access to the restroom until the order is paid for. I know that there are times when the restroom needs to be restricted to limit homeless and drug users from using their restrooms for other purposes... however, it was obvious that my mother was placing an order, they were not from the streets, and were paying customers even if my dad's word was not enough. Needless to say, they canceled their order and left this establishment. When the person was asked to for the managers name, she replied with "I am the manager". My mother then asked for her name and she said "Blanca", then proceeded to say very sarcastically "would you like my last name too." This is completely unprofessional and rude service at its finest. They'd rather lose a customer than just unlock it so my elderly dad could use the restroom while my mom orders. Yall should be ashamed of yourselves for treating elderly people in this matter! I will be calling the health department to inform them that customers do not have access to restrooms in this establishment. Maybe it will take a shut down to change how this restaurant does its business.
If I were the Jack in the Box Corporate Office or the franchisee of this establishment, I would seriously consider whether or not Blanca Carter and this ridiculous restroom policy is right for your business!! Next call the Health Department. Read the reviews... this restaurant needs a...
Read moreTraveling with friends we stopped for food on the way to our destination at about 9:30pm.
When ordering our food we had to repeat the order several times and were not asked what type of drink we would like with our meal and had to state it as the cashier was going to close out our order.
We waited at the window after ordering for quite a while before we were greeted and received our food. We quickly checked for accuracy and found everything there, except for the drink we ordered.
The driver had to knock on the window to get the attention of the drive-through employee and when inquiring about the drink we were told that they didn’t have any more of the soda we requested. I'm not sure why they wouldn't have informed us of this when we ordered or why they wouldn't have requested an alternative at the window instead of just NOT giving us our drink, but we still received a large coke.
After checking the bag and pulling out the items we found that the churros we ordered were EXTREMELY over cooked. They were hard and difficult to bite into and tasted burnt. These were NOT consumed.
We also ordered a chicken fajita pita and the pita was torn and ripped instead of being neatly cut as it would usually be. It was a mess to eat.
Lastly, the mini pancakes that were purchased were also torn and we received too many in our order, though that was appreciated since the churros were inedible.
The only thing that appeared to be cooked and prepared correctly were the Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges.
A disappointing experience at typically...
Read moreI've been a regular at Jacks In The Box for quite some time now, and it's truly a unique experience that stands out in the fast-food world! Here’s why:
First off, their burgers are unlike any other. They come with a distinct, slightly undercooked texture that really makes you feel like you're indulging in a gourmet, rare burger right from a high-end steakhouse. The juiciness of the meat ensures every bite is packed with flavor, creating a mouthwatering experience that leaves you craving more.
Now, onto the staff – they are an absolute delight! The atmosphere they create is incredibly relaxed and laid-back, which is a refreshing change from the usual fast-paced, uptight fast-food chains. Their carefree attitude is infectious, making your visit feel more like a casual hangout with friends rather than just grabbing a quick meal. And yes, the common weed aroma that lingers adds to the overall chill vibe, making every visit a memorable one.
The employees are always in high spirits (pun intended!), and their friendly, relaxed demeanor makes the customer service here uniquely pleasant. It's clear that they genuinely enjoy their work, which translates into a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
If you're looking for a place with a one-of-a-kind ambiance and burgers that challenge the norm in the best way possible, Jacks In The Box is definitely...
