HEB grocery store is great hands down except the curbside pickup area. Itâs way too small and cramped. For as much business as this location gets it really needs to be a lot bigger and more spacious. There isnât really room to park easily especially when you have a bigger vehicle. Other than that, at this location at the pharmacy dept is a pharmacy tech named SOPHIE And she is so disrespectful, rude, and doesnât explain procedures to customers. I have witnessed her firsthand be disrespectful to customers, She has been disrespectful to even myself upon picking up my child's asthma Medication. She is so miserable and rude thatâs she wonât even make eye contact with you. She will not explain whatâs going to happen. She simply opens the window and expects you To know what to do as where other pharmacy technicians will explain exactly whatâs going on to you, and when you do not understand the procedure because she is not taking her time to explain it to you and she is rude in how she speaks to you. That is totally unacceptable!! I will now be changing my pharmacy, simply because of her. I donât have the time, money and patience to waste on pathetic people. She is rude, disrespectful, ugly, and bitter. It is bad enough that some people are there to pick up medicationâs that are life-threatening, They do not need someone who is supposedly a professional but acts rude and ugly and bitter in their job. They are expected to help people that are in need. That is part of your job you chose. This is ridiculous for any HEB pharmacy to employee this type of behavior. If youâre not happy in your job to be professional and respectful to people you were hired to help, leave that job because itâs not for you! You chose that job, treat people right maâam. Youâre an adult not a child. I do not understand why she even works there anymore. I know she has multiple complaints against her again Iâve witnessed how she was horrible to people, elderly people and more than once and then including myself. When you visit a Pharmacy, you are there expecting the upmost respect and dignity amongst the employees. She simply does not provide any of that. She is the most horrible type of person and again I will be changing my pharmacy simply and only because of this technician. Karma, thatâs all Iâll say. She needs to be fired immediately. Do better,...
Read moreWent in Monday for my weekly shop. Get to the counter to pay and the cashier and csa were flirting......like who cares....at least acknowledge me with hello. Fast forward it's time for him to scan BOB and he literally rescan the water she already charged me....but not the paper towels or toilet paper...then proceeds to tell the cashier thats it. Then she looks and me and asks me and I say no there's paper towels n toilet paper. We go back and fourth about it for a min before I just grab them myself out of the basket for her to scan even tho the guy csa had the gun to scan them. Then she tells me to hand it to him.....which is confusing because we been trying to get him to scan them and was incapable of understanding his job. So then I pay and she literally goes to hand me the recipt but let's go of it before I grab it, didnt say bye or thank you....I go to unload all my groceries and to my disbelief they broke my cans of sause and as they put them into the basket. So unbeknownst to me as I'm lifting the bag it's also torn and seeping over all my groceries. Smh now I'm trying to still put the groceries in my trunk and avoiding the bags will alfredo over it. I go back inside speak with a manager about the incident..... literally not that helpful. I just asked for napkins to wipe my own food that I had paid for which now smelled like alfredo. Then on Tuesday I go in at 7am to order a cake i had previously bought from heb 13 and the bakery lady tells me their cake decorators can't make ombre rosettes on a cake ...... without even consulting anyone else. Told me should couldnt make the cake...... So i went to heb 13 to order my cake and the Bakery MANAGER SHELBY From 13 helped me immediately on the phone when I called reassured me they can take care of me. She made good on that promise I drove over and she was kind and informative. Perhaps this bakery should evaluate and even higher their standards to their sister Heb 13. Because yall are lacking in so many areas. I spend about 1500 at this heb a month. My daughter about 1ka month. I will make the drive to make heb 13 my store if this continues. If you dont care about custom service like Walmart...

To H-E-B Management,
Today I had an extremely disappointing interaction with a manager named Tanya at your SE Military location. I was standing on the public sidewalk near the store with Fiesta crowns, asking for small donations so I could take my 9-year-old daughterâa Stage 4 cancer survivorâto the Day Parade. Just prior, I had gone into H-E-B and purchased markers and a sign to support this effort.
Shortly after setting up, a kind security guard approached and asked me not to park in the H-E-B lot, so I moved my vehicle to the Cracker Barrel parking area. About 25 minutes later, the same guardâstill respectful and politeâreturned and explained that a manager had again complained, this time about me being on the sidewalk. Wanting clarity, I called the store directly and spoke with Tonya.
What shocked me was her claim that H-E-B owns everything from the Cracker Barrel, to the Wash Tub, and even down to Las Palapasâincluding the public sidewalk on SE Military Drive. I found this both unbelievable and disheartening.
Iâm a regular customer. I shop at this H-E-B twice a week, and my familyâmy mother, sister, and adult daughterâalso shop here. I easily spend over $1,000 a month at this location. To be treated so rudely, especially in the middle of trying to do something meaningful for my child, was incredibly hurtful.
There was a homeless man asking for money just 10 feet from where I stood, yet I was the one targeted and asked to leaveâfor peacefully asking for small donations to bring a little joy to my daughterâs life. My daughter, who is still recovering, faces weekly medical appointments due to lasting effects of her treatment, including deafness and facial palsy.
This experience left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. I will be sharing this experience in local mom groups and encouraging my family to shop elsewhere. Iâll gladly make the drive to a different H-E-B, one that hopefully shows more compassion and understanding to loyal customers trying to do good.
Drove by today 5/3/25 Tayna where are you to run these people off like you did me. Is it because they are white? Are you...
