La Carreta — Restaurant in San Antonio

Food: Amazing! Repeat customer since the first week it opened in the neighborhood. XX draft has been out since they opened is my assumption. If you don't have it, then may I suggest to remove the beer handle or cover it as it is misleading.

Service: Terrible! The service was longer than usual Friday night. While waiting for our food and finally after receiving our food, the waitress never returned to do a soft check. Not even to give us our ticket or to request a to-go container. We had to go up to the bar and ask for these items separately while the waitress was just talking to other waitresses by the bar. Also, there was somewhat of a language barrier when placing our food and drink orders.

Atmosphere: The band was great that Friday night , but the audio for the background music was extremely loud before the band performed. I could not hear the person sitting 2-feet across the table from me. The waitress could not even hear us cancel our drink order and ended up bringing us a XX bottle. Could be the linguistics barrier as previously mentioned or the fact that she could not hear us cancel the drink order over...

Visited this place to see the band and also to have something to eat, I order my food when I arrived at 12:15am or so, and at around 12:45am the waitress came back to tell me that they had closed the kitchen. Mind me, this place is beautiful and I really enjoy coming here, but that waiters that has dirty blonde hair was who didn't want to order my food. Because when I asked my waitress she said she needed to go ask her if they could still make the food I had ordered before the kitchen closed. I asked the bartender at what time they close the kitchen and he said 12:20am, I ordered my food before that time. I'm very disappointed of the service I...

Great place for your special occasions or just for a fun night out. Food was delicious, we had the cachetadas and mini tacos La carreta. Speciality drink La Carreta with Buchanans piña was refreshing and delicious. The carajillo to finish our night was awesome, plus super nice touch have it prepared at the table.
