McDonald's — Restaurant in San Antonio

McDonalds is our go-to fast food place when traveling. Just now we did a pit stop at this McDonalds and also decided to order using the McDonalds app deal. When I told the associate I’m using the deal, he went to get the manager. Lady manager took my order using the Buy One Get One Deal (Quarter Pounder and the free 10 pc McNuggets), Iced Coffee and Diet Coke. I paid - and then she left WITHOUT a word, without giving me my receipt. For a moment, I thought she would come back. Not a shadow. I just stayed there wondering… and was rationalizing that she must be extremely busy with the non-stop customers coming in and ordering take-outs. This is the first time I have experienced this in McDonalds. Oftentimes my experience is pleasant. Occasionally it’s warm and fun at the same time, especially when the associates have that genuine sense of joyful enthusiasm in their job. That wasn’t the experience I got today in this McDonalds. Hopefully mine is an isolated case. May Lady Manager not ever do that to a customer again.

Order was served fast. Our food were just right. The mobile app deals and rewards are a huge plus. So if you are a McDonalds fanatic, get the app. It’ll save you some moolah.

Now let me say one other thing about this McDo location… Please do not forget to place a trash bin under the restroom sink. It’ll keep the restroom...

I went to this location yesterday and as I walked in I walked to the counter and it took at least 5 mins for someone to come take my order I guess cause they’re used to being lazy and letting the customers order from the new machines they have in the lobby but I wanted a very specific order so I wanted to make sure It was gonna be done right cause I don’t use those machines often i prefer not too either well as I waited, someone finally came to the register and I proceeded with my order Within this time of taking my order all the cashier could do was laugh and apparently every order could not be made how I wanted it so I’m thinking what in the world is going on with this employee I have never had this much trouble ordering before the guy just didn’t know what he was doing then and the manager is too busy playing around to see what is going on, this was just horrible service so we go sit down to finally enjoy our meals and we open them up to find out they made the chicken sandwiches just sloppy so anyways we started eating and I hear my cousin say “Ewwww” so I said “what’s wrong” she told me look on the wall behind you and so I did just then I seen a big roach crawling on the wall and I was immediately grossed out, spit my food up then threw it away and left. Greeted by a young man helped me order on there new indoor screen computer. Which I have never bothered to use before. He showed me how easy it is to order instead of having to stand in line to make my order. Which I will do from here on. Went to counter to ask for a cup of water & a spoon. 3 employees saw me standing @ the counter & ignored me. Then the young man who helped me tapped on my shoulder he nicely asked. Can I help you with something? He went ahead got me my spoon & a cup of water. I have gone to McD's on Culebra/Zarzamora there service is not as good as here. Poorly service w/ the experience I have had there before. I like how the young man GREETS every customer coming in . He is the only Reason I scored it a 3 Star. Not only that but every once in a while he come to me ask if I need anything else. Plus a Multi-Tasker he went ahead helped a customer waiting in line to pay for her meal. That is the kind of people I like who will take on task w/ out having to be told what to do. He just takes over what has to be done. He's cleaning tables, put dirty trays away, & serves orders for take out. He's a Busy Body...
