I ordered catering for my daughters birthday. I ordered it a little over 24 hours of a scheduled time and was sent a confirmation email that the order would be ready . So when the next day came I didn’t feel the need to call to confirm, as I trusted in the system. But when my husband got to the restaurant at 3:35, to his surprise the order was NOT even ready. They actually tried to give my husband the WRONG order. My husband had to WAIT 30 minutes! The restaurant had 24+ hour notice to have the order ready and STILL didn’t come through at the correct time. And on top of the late order my husband came back with NO forks, serving utensils or napkins! And instead of getting beef & broccoli, I got just BROCCOLI! There was just a few pieces of beef in that entire catering tray. AND some of the broccoli looked old and withered! It was just absolutely ridiculous! This is the second time we’ve ordered catering and was THRILLED with the excellent service we got the first time and thought this time would be the same, but BOY WERE WE WRONG!

By far, the worst I got there 2 1/2 hours before closing, and they were out of a lot of stuff and said they won't be making any because they close soon (2 1/2 hours and the lines were long.) The portion was super small. Chili shrimp only had 3 pieces and under it was just onion and bell peper to make it look full. Then sesame chicken green beans had 2 pieces of chicken small, 3 pieces of green beans, and bell pepper. The noodles were basically empty like half a scoop. u could see the bottom. Every time I go to other pandas, they fill it. Idk if they just didn't want to make more, so they made everything small or what. But this is definitely not acceptable for $15.

Yesterday I stopped by PE, despite no complications in my day, I was having a dull, decaffeinated type of day. When I got my food, the lid had a cute message that said, “ don’t u wish your kung pao was hot like me” n it had a lil panda bear drawn also. Gosh! It made me laugh n break out of the dullness. My kung pao was hot n delicious. I don’t go there often nor do I know the person who wrote it. This tells me, the employees put n emphasis to do great for the clients, serving great food n putting a smile in our days! Thank you to the person who did that, thank you because it made my day and to all employees at this location for such a unique teamwork.

Panda Express Customer Experience Review

I recently visited your location and had a very disappointing experience that I feel needs to be addressed.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Evelyn, who seemed rushed and impatient. She was talking extremely fast, as if she wanted to hurry us out. When I politely asked if there was any beef and broccoli available, her only response was, “We close in 15 minutes.” I clarified, “So the answer is no, then?” and moved on, but the tone was already off-putting.

During checkout, she didn’t ask if we wanted drinks. When I mentioned that I did, she told me it would be a separate transaction, which I was fine with, but again, her tone came off as dismissive. She also never asked whether our food was to-go or dine-in and just bagged everything automatically.

We decided to dine in, but shortly after sitting down, Evelyn approached our table and said, “We close in 10 minutes.” I responded that it was fine. Meanwhile, I noticed another customer a woman who appeared to be homeless was trying to get their attention because the ice machine wasn’t working. Despite her efforts, both Evelyn and another coworker ignored her multiple times. I finally had to speak up and ask the staff to acknowledge her, and only then did someone go retrieve ice from the back for her. She was a paying customer and deserved to be treated with basic respect and dignity.

Shortly after, two more gentlemen came in. Instead of greeting them, Evelyn bluntly said, “We close in 5 minutes. Is that okay?” They agreed, ordered food, and sat down to eat. Moments later, Evelyn approached their table and told them the restaurant was closed. They had to pack their food and leave mid-meal. Shortly after that, she came to our table and repeated, again, “We’re closed.” I asked if she wanted me to stop eating and leave, and she said, “No, I’m just letting you know we’re closed,” with clear attitude and eye-rolling body language.

I told her she was being extremely rude, and she didn’t apologize or show any concern. She seemed unbothered when I told her I would be contacting corporate.

As we left, I saw the two gentlemen who had been asked to leave eating their meals outside on the hood of their car. That was the final straw. No customer should be treated that way, especially not while they’re eating food they just paid for. If the dining area closes at a specific time, don’t let customers in after that point. But once they’re seated and eating, they deserve to be treated with respect not rushed out or made to feel unwelcome.

This experience was completely unacceptable. I hope Panda Express takes this feedback seriously and addresses the attitude and behavior of Evelyn at this...

Panda could be a five Star restaurant really easy, because of there cooking, cleaning and 5 out 10 good customer service, but they lack the touchdown, they run so hard and always Fumble the ball right before they get too the touchdown at the 95 yard line, they do all that good work and lose at the end, there's no point going 95% and ruining everything that you did that was so good, all because you couldn't serve the food correctly or you're rushing ahead and you're forgetting what was infront of you and behind you, nevertheless making sure there's enough food ready too go, so known one is left behind or waiting, but it takes a good coach to make great leaders, so those leaders can run a team and win a championship, because there's know point going 95% and dropping the ball right at the end, because you're rushing or being lazy and hiding your mistake and not making it right after you see the mistake, there's no point putting food on top of food that doesn't make sense from the order or there's no point bringing out someone's plates, when you don't know what's going on and the order is wrong and missing plates, plus telling the customer to do your job and check the plates, because you don't know what's going on... No coach, no leaders no team... "You can take that to the bank", because that's what hurts my bank, when you get it wrong... My hard money is not for waste of time, plus you still owe me a plate that you took from me and took my money, from the last panda I went to and that was on Valley high another story... The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree... Stop working ahead and finish the 1st job, before you go to the 2nd job and make sure you have a counter measure that checks your work, so nothing is wrong and make sure there's enough food, so you don't fall behind, so customers won't be waiting... Good Luck... still love your food, just want you too be the best... sorry I'm a hard a**, but someone has to be the...

For the first time since before the pandemic, I decided to go to Panda Express. Thankfully, the location on the north side near my home exceeded my expectations. For this, I decided to stop by this location less than a week later. Sadly, this location reminded me why I don’t like Panda Express. This location informed us of an, “at most 10 minute wait”. About 10 drive through orders and 25 minutes later, we received our food(it looks like they forgot about our order in the warmer). With our order we found an order of crab Rangoon missing, one plate given an incorrect side/entree, and utensils/fortune cookie for one(which there were three of us). Upon informing staff of the issue, the manager proceeding to inform us of another wait for the food. By the time one of us finished our meals, the third plate came out; however, the order was incorrect once again. At this point, we didn’t even make them aware. I’m making this review while waiting for the third in our party to finish said incorrect order. The final icing on the cake was the fact that the Dr Pepper was out of syrup before we sat and after we left. From the lack of portions of nearly all the entrees, the lack of caring from any employees, and the inconsistencies from the other location, I can confidently say this location deserves its average...
